Master Chief Collection Steam Instructions
Install the game and make sure Halo 1 is downloaded in the MCC menu.
Close the game and navigate to the install folder. The easiest way to get to it is by right clicking on MCC in the steam library and going to 'properties' then 'local files' and finally 'browse'.
Open up the 'halo1' folder and then 'maps'.
Overwrite the files in the 'maps' folder with the ones from the mod download. Make sure you OVERWRITE. If you do this wrong and DM me on discord I WILL call you dumpy.

Halo Custom Edition Instructions
If you are using HCE you probably already know what you are doing, but make sure you have the latest version of Chimera because this map uses extended tag space limits and it WILL crash if you do not have Chimera installed. You should also install a custom Main Menu that shows the campaign options, or you can just launch the maps with the console.

Hey @InfernoPlus, Love your work, My friends and I have played hundreds of hours of this and my god every run is different, The Toolguns are a massive gamechanger. Any chance we could get a Uncensored (NSWF) version of the Cursed Halo V2. Also any updates coming to this or Halo2 etc?

I've double checked and I'm pretty sure it is in the correct folder. it should be in the maps folder right?

A10 is the first level... sounds like you didn't install the mod properly. You probably put it in the wrong folder.

thanks, but now it says that one of the map files are missing or corrupted and it is a10 is there any possible explanation for this or is this because I didn't install chimera correctly? sorry I haven't done this in a while and not fully skilled in this sort of stuff

When it comes to installing chimera I think I did that correctly but the custom menu I have no idea how to or where to install one

tbh id much rather use the Halo CE version but the biggest issue with that these days is... 'acquiring' it

Honestly... no idea. You could use the Halo CE version if you want. I don't actually use MCC personally so I don't know much about it. Maybe check in the reclaimers discord if you want to try and trouble shoot it. https://discord.gg/aRchzBS

trying to run this on the MCC on steam and everytime i pause the game it gets a fatal error, any idea on a potential fix? sure i could just never pause but i gotta look at my settings and stuff

You can't combine mods in Halo without doing a custom build. It will just overwrite any other mod you have for the campaign.
