I’ll always believe that this is what the original ending kind of hinted at!! Since the credits (where the lions find the nebula shaped Allura) got pushed to the post-credits in favour of the ‘where they are now epilogue’, it totally changed the somber mood of the final scene and made the what should have been an open ending full corny and totally unsatisfying 😤😤
