I just finished a new piece and called it “Home”. I didn’t really worry about creating anything that was going to be particularly “good”. Instead, I just wanted to paint something to calm me down, and take off the pressure a bit. And I always enjoy painting plants and sunlight.
Also, now that I’m at home even more than usual it really makes me appreciate having a comfortable place to stay. It might not be as nice as this little cottage, but I’m still very happy with it.
Aaaand I started playing Stardew Valley. I got it for my birthday and it’s so nice and chill - a perfect distraction from everything. I’m not a gamer at all and the last game I played was Pokémon Saphire, haha. But the pixel graphic really reminds me of it, so I’m enjoying it a lot.
Other than that, I’m doing yoga everyday to stay active and I try to keep my usual routine. How do you cope with quarantine?
