Seth Clothing Design

I've been playing around with some designs today to make Seth's clothing a little more interesting and concrete (?). Before, he's just been wrapped in lots of fabric, which I wasn't too excited about.
I might also take another stab at his hairstyle and facial features. I know I have shared versions of these characters before, but I'm not married to their designs and I'm making revisions until I'm able to capture the right feel for them and their personality.

Pretty much all characters populating the world live closely to nature, and this one is no exception. This design is also in line with the general style of clothing I'm going with for the whole project. I'm personally not worried about the Jedi thing. With all the things that are out there, you always create something that exists already in a similar form. People tell me my characters look like Horizon Zero Dawn all the time. But I started the project before the game came out. So it's just something that happens and I'm ok with it. I'm not going to stop drawing the things I love just because someone else has done something similar already. :)

Nice!!! Your characters would fit right into my world! I feel like Phantasma could be another continent in the world (Azardea) of my story. 🥰

Are you able to give a couple more details about the character and his personality etc? I really get that man of nature, wandering Samurai/Ronin feel from him. I think my only concern is its looking a little Jedi...Thats not to discredit it in anyway as that's what they were based on too, I just wonder if some of those shapes are a little too grounded in pop culture?! what's your take? I'm enjoying watching your process in these, its prompting me to do more in my own work (its something i tend to do more in my head) i'm designing a new fish at the moment so it's probably best i did some they are tricksy haha.
