I take a similar approach when solving problems at work, I start broad solving the problem from different directions and do constant refinement and iteration to produce the polished version ready to be deployed company wide. Whether it be just some documentation or a custom piece of software, everything gets the same treatment. A problem I sometimes run into because of this approach is avoiding perfection from being an enemy to a good solution, sometimes I get into the zone and the good enough version was several iterations ago and I took thinks far beyond the sale.

Definitely a great way to work as you tend to find something you enjoy refining. This is the same process we're using in a video game project by building mechanics to fool around with before eventually (and hopefully) finding a path to refine and make into a game. Thank you for sharing and making it look sweet too!
