I hope ya like this salty little, less in depth video. Anyways, thanks so much for your support and for responding to my last post about the patron names. I think what I'm leaning towards is having it both ways a little bit so the top few tiers (Most Grim to Unfathomable Grimness or in the $10-$25 range) be read if they want, and the rest will appear as a scroll.
I was going to figure all that out now and change the info on the page, but I guess I gotta wait for the internet to come back. So, in case you joined at a lower tier in hopes that I'd read your name I'm truly sorry and would understand if ya backed out of being a patron. I do think this will mostly be a positive change. Like there will be less disappointment with the runtime cutting down a now 12 to 13 minute segment considerably and also I'll save a bunch of time on a part of the video that can literally consume a day or two and can use that to improve the rest of it.
Thanks again so much if you ever supported me at all. Like, I'm sure I say it a lot, but I'm always amazed by it.

I think another good model for Patron names is how Mandalore does Q&A or talks about random stuff while the names are flashed on screen.

I'm in nearly the exact same situation. I did support Grim before with a PayPal donation the size of a year worth of Patreon donations because I was a little intimidated by the Patreon platform, but have since last month taken the step towards this platform. I can understand that it was never going to be possible to keep reading out all the names, so I can understand the change. However a part of me does feel disappointed (mostly at myself) for missing the boat on the running gag that was the supporter's list.

Aside from the shout outs at the end, I really preferred the lack of a Recompence section in this video! I'm sure that's mainly because there are no amazon reviews to tear into of an obscure Korean horror game. But your humour brings a real light mood to the review and dedicating a bit to tear badly written reviews dampens that spirit quite a bit imo. Hope that's some useful input and great stuff as always man! Brilliant cold open too :)

You do what you feel comfortable with. I legit enjoy the reading sessions, they feel a running gag because there's so many names, but I think maybe a golden middle path would be using text scrolls for some episodes and then occasionally for some episodes reading every name.

I finally got around to joining your Patreon and got the inquiry about limiting the list as my first Patreon update here. Really can't be mad about it if it results in my name never being mentioned though. I chose to sign up because I want to support my favourite YouTube creator and if you feel it would work better for your channel to prune the list at the end of the video, I'm all down with that. I think this dilemma between expressing gratitude to every one of your patrons or cutting down the shout-outs to make your videos more bingeable *for* your patrons and viewers. . . I think it testifies to your character as a really good dude.
