I came back to this episode cause I ended up being recommended the Newkirks' podcast and, like you, kinda vibed with their laid back demeanor that seems to have a good sense of humor about what it is they do. It wasn't until they mentioned being the Hellier people that I rewatched this and then watched S2 of Hellier. Absolutely insane Pepe Sylvia shit from cover to cover that they take super serious despite the content being bonkers. PAN! Zacko Baggo could never.

I've had this ep in my back pocket for a while and I just watched it. Amazing stuff. I'm just commenting to let you know that your ex-hard drug user friend IS correct - shadow people (as they are most commonly referred to) ARE real. I, too, am an ex-hard drug user, 7 days no sleep, nutritional deficiency, enjoyer. You see, I quite drugs 4 years ago and now I have a perma-psychosis where I see them all the time and have to sleep w/ white noise or I hear distant voices and music. Permanent brain damage from years of IV methamphetamine usage and weeks straight of no sleep or food? OR, and follow me on this one ok, just keep an open mind ffs, I have opened an interdimensional shadow realm portal and am receiving a message that If I lean into this phenomena, I mean really lean in, like quite my psych meds and listen to the voices, that I will receive instructions for how to guide humanity. Checkmate, non believers. Ok I'm just kidding about the leaning in and quitting my meds thing, but I do have perma-psychosis and it's incredibly easy to see how people can fall into these type of mental trappings and drown in the sauce. I really did enjoy the shadowrealm but in more of a "my mind is breaking down from no sleep and that is interesting what that does to you" kind of way. Anywhoo....good vid..what was it about? ghost games on psx, right, good shit keep it up, my man!

these last two ones have been kinda sad! the 2nd video was a lot about the cliquey ego stuff in the ghost show community and this ones about losing touch with reality and how it overlaps with conspiracy theory spheres and its kind of sad to listen to. not unimportant, you have good thoughts on it, but wow bummer :c
