Flabebe took some inpiration from tadpole tails and those pictures of jumping spiders with water droplets on their heads. Floette was inspired from photos of lily pads from underwater, which were also what gave me the idea in the first place! Florges wears the lily pad as a fancy sunhat, with a more mermaid-like lower body.
