Ironing out bugs and flags. Progress update.

The update is almost ready for release, currently I am going through it and making sure things work, display properly and all sounds work as intended. While you might find it to be quite short, it does compensate for it with variation, here I focused on giving player more control of how MC feels about things. While it's cool, it is a lot of work and is a more complex and requires a lot of attention to keep things running. Also added some more options in already existing content. Tommy now has an option to get to know him a little. I was planning to give him a big chunk of content this update, but it looks like it will be in the next update which will feature more of Tommy while this one is more Frank and Juliette centric.
I think I should be done in a few hours, but just to be safe don't hold your breath and check in on the update tomorrow. By then it'll be ready for sure.
What am I going to do next? First, I will finally impliment the layer image system, this update in particular was a huge pain in the ass, because I decided to postpone this step in favor of adding content, but now I realized the most obvious thing that you need a strong foundation to build something on, so making a strong foundation is what I will focus on. Yeah also there was this one time where I straight up deleted an original file for one of the scenes and merged another one into a single image, basically ruining them. Will work on making backups and copies for everything as well. Aside from this system I will try to make some sort of more concrete layout of the story for myself, use a visual board maybe instead of a notepad ............ Basically, will try to do whatever I can to work as efficiently as possible so that we can have more regular, consisten and high quality updates. There are a couple of people who offered to work with me on stuff like proof-reading and writing, this is something I am looking in to, it would definitly be a huge help if there was another writer as it's kinda hard to write and also do all the art myself.

Yep, that is something I am still figuring out can't quite decide on. Hopefully I will figure out what works for me as I work on the game.

Don't worry, With time spent making the game you will be able to make better estimation of workload ;-) Just be careful : it is nice to give players more control but that also means more work for you to deal with all cases : a balance must be found to not have you to deal with too big a workload ^^! I mean, if less control is required to not have a mountain of work, then let have less control ^^! Good luck !
