I've been hard at work since my last post and I'm making steady progress. I lost a couple days due to a family member having a flood in their house so I was helping out with that. There's so many things I want to work on that I have to wait on because obviously the new update is priority. After this update is done I'll finish up my special episode for the game. This should be available around mid May. I have been working on it off and on since I released chapter one and I think you guys will like it.
I was thinking of doing an AMA(ask me anything) and thought about doing a video answering questions while I work on a scene in Daz and then posting it on Patreon. Would you guys be interested in that? Let me know in the comments and if there's a decent amount of interest I'll make an official post where you guys can ask questions.
I'll be making a couple more polls later this week to get your help deciding on a few things for the game. It really makes things easier when I see your feedback as most of the comments I get from you guys are really great and helpful.
I have been spending a lot of the money I have been making from Patreon upgrading my computer hardware and adding gpus to my render server I set up recently. I've also been able to purchase lots of assets and other software licenses that make working on the game easier. Another great thing I was able to buy is a reliable backup solution and also pay for a cloud backup service as well. This all gives me peace of mind knowing I have everything automatically saved in three locations in case disaster ever strikes. One thing you'll never see me post is how I lost everything and have to start over or something like that, and it's all thanks to you guys. So once again thank you all so much for the support!
I have posted a few teaser images from chapter four. We're a few weeks out from the first release, and I'm really excited for you guys to play it. I think it's going to be a good one.

Well I probably won't get too technical and detailed as the point of the video will be an AMA but yeah I'll probably go through most of that stuff you mentioned.

Great idea to post a vid of a Daz scene run through. Id like to see a full environment and characters with poses, if you use billboards. Placing sky and buildings or whatever scenery in the background. Seeing how much VRAM it takes up and what you do to compress it (scene optimiser if needed). Also what lighting tricks you use. Whether presets or custom.

Glad to hear you are doing fine and you could help your friend. Hope tge water did not take anything of value. An AMA would be fine, but please don't spend too much time on it by videotaping it. Text would be sufficient for me.

I'd love an AMA session with you Bobby! I'm also eager to see you work your magic in Daz. I've been learning as much as I can, but any tips/tricks I can glean from a session would be appreciated. Out of curiosity, are you planning for this to be a "live" session or are you planning to accept questions beforehand and answer them while working in a recorded video later? Glad to hear you've taken precautions with backups and taking the initiative to upgrade hardware where possible. Please don't ever feel bad for irl things that come up (especially family and friend events). At the end of the day, your friends and family, job, etc. take priority and everything else can come after that. Thanks for all you do!

Awesome job, and good planning on the backups, seen it a few times where a dev lost a lot of time over a bad hard drive.
