Sliding pegbars & fields for layout DIY bodge

The idea of sliding pegbars & field guides is to work out distances, zooms, pans and the most basic calculateable "tweens" in traditional animation. The idea is unlike cutout animation, you can plan numerically where everything is coming from, to.
Since I'm working with A4 paper, for now I might as well not bother with the actual standards (and a sliding pegbar disc costs a small fortune). It's like how I started off without even the Acme pegbars in case I hated traditional animation, but the Acme format's legit - it's way better to work with than regular 2 circular holes. I'll rarely need a sliding pegbar solution, but I at least have one now for animating to pans and checking walk cycles aren't "slipping" etc.
I could delve into the maths if anyone wants to do the same.

Vital change! Fields are meant to be 1 inch horizontally. So I've changed the divisions into a 10 inch, 10 field chart. So 10 inches across still, except there's now 10 little rectangle columns and rows. Makes life a lot easier and I can use a bog-standard ruler on it. Industry animation rulers work in 20ths of an inch but sod that, standard 16ths ruler will do me!
