When you talk about the game, that they're in this together, it shows the recurring motif in Lover. We have the toys in Cruel Summer and the dice and the whole song Paper Rings, as you said in another analysis. Using games to describe situations or love. Great analysis! This album is SOOO underrated...

Love this analysis! I recently saw someone say that “meet me in the afterglow” was sort of the thesis of the whole album. After the chaotic storm of reputation passed, we had the afterglow of the lover album. I love this idea and now I’m trying to decide what the thesis is to her other albums!

Thank you for making videos in the middle of everything going on personally. I hope all is better or will be soon. I loved your analysis. One thing I wanted to say was when Taylor says "this ultraviolet morning light below" to me that kind of meant the good things or the true feelings under the surface of the fight. I've been in some baaaad relationships and bad fights in those relationships where the whole situation is just awful. But with my current partner even when we have the bad fights we are still close and still intimate and everything feels different because of the undertone of love and respect. That's just kind of how I relate to that particular part.
