As stated in the pinned post at the top of my page, there was a leak a while back that necessitated the changing of some passwords. This will only impact you up to chapter 6. From then on, you will be able to click a red button labelled ‘Unlock with Patreon’ and then read the chapter. I believe this gets cleared up next chapter. Your definition is correct — it’s just not really to be considered; the censure bit is more important, the circenses half is just me being a little bit clever and making both a dark pun and paying homage to Rome :)

Love this new story! I like the mysterious vibe that it gives out and how the idea of “time travel” is not just something that is immediately accepted. Very curious as to what direction this story will go toward. Just one question though, what is the Department of Censure and Circenses mean? Is it meant to reveal its meaning later? I searched up the word “circenses” and came up with “games of the circus” from wiktionary, but that somehow seems wrong.

This will be my main priority once CoP is finished — I plan for weekly uploads on here once that day comes. I am very excited about this fic because it will be the first one I write from the beginning with a style I’m happy with. Seeing so many people excited about it has genuinely made my day. Maybe I’ll post a chapter a month at least until frequent updates come — we’ll see :)

I might take your advice on this, but the summary will give away that it’s time travel anyway, so I’m a bit torn on whether keeping it ambiguous will add anything.

I'd say change the date "June 27, 1977" to unknown at the start of the chapter. let the reader find out with harry.
