LNG has a lot of misunderstandings around it. It's safer than petrochemical products and it's not toxic. LNG won't burn or explode and there has never been a LNG tanker accident in the history of this products' bulk transportation by water. Only the vapors of this product are reactive, and then only so in a narrow ratio of oxygen mixed with it
