Kawa is river. Mountain-river. Tomo can mean "friend" depending on the kanji. Nice name!

My Japanese friend's name is Yamakawa Tomoko. I see the "mountain" in there, and I get the "ko," but do you know what the rest of her name means? (It's pretty late where she is right now, or I'd just call her. Instead, I'm trying to take advantage of YOU! LOL!)
