Publishing Update! (still early days)
🕑 Added 2023-10-16 14:15:41 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here’s a peak into what I’ve been up to! The teen titans video did very well, so it gave me some wiggle room to work on my graphic novel pitch.
Publishing is a LONG process, but the first step is drawing concept art, character sketches, and sample pages. I’ve included some above! Here’s an elevator pitch of the story:
Finneas Finch, the only gay student at his Catholic high school, learns he has to fight the Seven Deadly Sins after being visited by his Patron Saints. He gets epic powers and a magical girl-esque transformation, complete with cute outfit and a team of new friends! Together they navigate through prejudice, love triangles, and religious trauma.
You probably recognized a number of troupes I love in that description lol. It’s like Sailor Moon but with Fullmetal Alchemist villains set in a Heartstopper high school! What could be more fun?
I’m slightly limited on what I can share, but what I will say is that several agents have shown interest in the book! My goal is to go through traditional publishing so the graphic novel can be purchased at any bookstore, but if not I might look into self-publishing options. Fingers Crossed🤞
