It's so full of potential from a narrative standpoint. The moment when the libido subsides, the post-coital mood can be an excuse for so many different conversations, so many ways to develop a character! For example, I think there is so much narrative and emotional potential in the "healing" part that comes after a BDSM intercourse! The juxtaposition between the roughness, the animal-like drive, the dynamicbetween theroles, the violence even of a BDSM relationship, and the methodical sweetness of amending and healing those very same aspects, potentially even reversing the power dynamics... or, depending on the story, using that moment of weakness, emotional connection and still lingering wild libido as a tool for one character to influence the other! How is that element not used more in stories, I don't understand. I can imagine so many ways it could be a plot element in spy stories!
