@brian the weather here is rainy during that time but nowhere near the extent that it is further south. Mid July is usually pretty sunny and warm. Lately the temperature is hotter than usual and many places lack ac. So mid July should be fine. It’s also the best time to visit Furano.

Early spring is not so great since it’s mainly mud from melting snow.
