We are in our mid-sixties and just purchased our first pull type RV. Yes, freedom of travel. BTW, from what I have seen, Japanese made RV are high quality. John in Missouri.

Normal license is enough. I spent 6 months in one as a kid and 3 weeks in one as an adult. I love the freedom.

I work with luxury travel, and quite a few clients like to travel in RVs / campers (actually, I am working on an itinerary right now!). They are not for everyone, but it is quite fun to travel in one. They can't ride on every road, parking can be a bit hard if you are not used to large vehicles, and you do have to deal with poop.. but still, it is a cool experience. Do you need a special license to drive the large RVs?
