In this system, the only accepted currency for trading is Villain Value points. When it comes to trading with others outside the system, it depends on how the story progresses and what unfolds in the plot. Currently, a major event is about to happen in the Immortal Martial Continent, which will keep the main character very busy dealing with its aftermath. Therefore, the MC won't have much time for trading or engaging with others for now.

Yeah I meant trading within the system, but I also meant, selling the useless plants (old heavenly origin etc) to buy higher tier Dao Connecting ones. As in selling them within the sect or just in the new continent
If you're referring to trading within the system, the answer is no. As for your last point, something along those lines will occur.

Wouldn't it beneficial for Mc to trade the Inquiring Realm plants for Dao Connecting? Does the system have that function? Also, would he gift a plant to Yuan? Both to improve the impression of the ring grandmas and to disarm Yuan?
