Well, I am sorry you feel this way, but writing about less blessed protagonists doesn't make sense to me. How would you explain it from a Heavenly Fate point of view? However, I know what you're talking about. I have read it in other Chinese novels where they downplay the Heavenly Fate's might from the beginning, using it only as a deterrent to prevent the protagonist's death early on, or sometimes it plays no role at all. I have some novels in mind, but they often get dropped after 200 to 300 chapters due to censorship. I'll translate some of the chapters, and if you like them, I'll continue.

tbh I lost interest in this story since whenever the MC owns a protagonist, he is immediately faced with a new, much more blessed protagonist. It just kinda feels like a chore. Would be so much better if he could just smack down some noobs in between, before a new guy with 10x the heavenly fate or whatever comes along. Not being the perpetual underdog.
