We're totally on the same boat! I personally choose the tsundere type of guys because I think it's really cute when they get flustered plus there's a chance the MC is fierce and 'fights' back too. I was surprised when I played Dimitri's route though, and enjoyed it a lot. I don't often choose LIs like Dimitri and I blame that on the fact that if you choose guys like him, you pretty much end up in like a submissive-submissive kind of relationship that's all cutesy (this applies to most of the otome games I played and I don't like it that much hahaha) or, like you said, mature MC with suddenly dominant young LI. This is why I really love Tailor Tales because you gave us an option to be fierce/dominant. And because of that, you made me realize that the reason why I choose tsunderes is not because of them being that way per se but because of the fierceness you get from the MC which makes the interaction even more fun with the teasing and all, if that makes any sense hahaha. 😂 (let's face it, it's just sooo fun to tease the LIs and see them so flustered😉. So here I am again saying that I'm part of the minority that chooses the Fierce option whenever it's available! But... are we really a minority though 🧐😆)

I love me some feisty and dominant MCs <3 It's taken me years to realize the dynamic I personally enjoy. I would look for plain type guys, childhood friend guys (because they're usually nicer), eventually realizing that younger guys were written more cute and sometimes the MC more mature. But then they'd have the younger STILL be dominant and it would be an instant turn off. I gravitated towards tsunderes because I would enjoy when the MC could be feisty back to them. Eventually I found out that I simply liked dominant MCs with submissive LIs. Cute boys that I could tease and fluster. To take the lead! Gentle Femdom was that dynamic I liked and could finally put a label on it. Unfortunately, there are zero cases that I know of where this comes to play in otome. Well, aside from perhaps Dimitri (and of course, Aiden himself).

As part of the minority, I AM SOOOO HYPED FOR AIDEN'S ROUTE! I've played quite a bit of Otome games and it's sooo hard to find an MC that's not demure and really submissive (although I don't mind it, it's just really refreshing to have a feisty and assertive MC yah know?). I'm also excited to see how Gray's route goes because, as much as I'm not that much of a fan for overly dominant LI and super submissive MC, you will do great yet again! And thank you for telling us about gentle femdom! I've been looking for the right term for my hunt for games and drama cds of that nature, but I really didn't know how to word it 😅 Anywaaay, thank you sooo much for you're hard work, Celianna! You don't disappoint and the stories you made are soooo perfect and well written. Btw, this was the very first game I've ever tried to pay for and you surely are great! We love you Celiii~ keep doing what tou love 🥺💖

Oh I can't wait to play with Aiden. Dom MC and sub LI is right up my alley. As for Gray, look wise, he's definitely my type, personality we'll see. I tend to like dom MC's with sub LIs or equal dom/sub for both. Despite that, I have no doubt I'll love Gray's route as well. I haven't been disappointed yet. 😄

Aiden is a kinky fellow and part of his route is exploring that side of him. So yes, it involves BDSM (Aiden enjoys being pegged or tied up), but it does not involve pain or humiliation, as it's focused on gentle femdom. Aiden enjoys it when MC takes control, or bosses him around. He thinks it's hot when she gets a little mad at him, or when she takes charge of a situation. There's no pain involved, so I think you will still rather like it :) You should look up gentle femdom if you haven't already.

I'm actually excited to see how you handle a submissive guy. And seeing everyone else comments, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I know for me personally, I am fairly dominant myself. I enjoy being able to have a fight for the top, because solely dominant men can be off-putting. And it's exciting to tease the guy until they can't take it anymore. I have never actually found a man willing to be submissive all the time, so it's hard to really get to test out how that would feel. I really enjoy being able to make a man writhe with pleasure, and it can be hard to get a guy to want to show it. The only time I see a guy as sub involves BDSM and pain is not my thing. And causing someone pain is also not my thing. I don't know how much you'd be willing to tell us at this point in development, but I was wondering if Aiden's submissiveness involves BDSM? Because I personally think it'd be great to portray a man being submissive without the need for something like that.

^ this is what i’m worried about actually haha.... because i enjoyed caine a lot up to the last part where i was hoping they can wrestle for the top a slight bit more before she lets caine win or something. and while i trust celi because their writing has been very enjoyable for me so far even on routes i don’t think i’d like (it’s why i continue to be a patreon after all) i still couldn’t help but worry a little bit that for Gray’s route even in the fierce option we will somehow fall into this troupe where it’s like “fierce/aggressive/woman in power just wants to let go of control sometimes and be submissive in bed” so what i’m trying to argue for here is....please....let us wrestle for the top together with gray like a femme fatale vs james bond or something for the lack of a better comparison of this sleepy esl person

Between Aiden and Gray I definitely am looking more forwards for Aiden - but that's mostly because overly dominant LI tend to pair up with very submissive MCs, and I personally hate submissive MCs. I will still play both routes tho :)

Gray was the one I was looking forward to most when I first found this game: dominant, possibly criminal, protective, maybe a sadist during sex ooooh boy!! I like yandere type characters in VNs; Gray definitely gives off those vibes, but maybe that's just me. I tend toward shy/submissive MCs, and have a hard time putting myself in the shoes of feisty/dominant MCs, so I'm not sure if I'll like Aiden as the others... but I really like the game so I'm gonna give it a try. I haven't played Caine or James yet, though I know for sure they're up my alley!

If you think that the fierce options for James' route so far haven't been aggressive for you, I doubt Gray's route would be all that different. I actually thought there were quite a few aggressive moments for James' fierce choices as you can keep being a thorn in his eye and continually go against his wishes. She legit says "fuck you" to him at one point, can flip him off, and can decide to kill him... if that wasn't aggressive enough for you, I don't know what to tell you haha.

I'm personally really interested in Aiden, I already had my eyes on him since the beggining and I'm intrigued about his route ^^ but I know I'm with the minority on that, I hope you find a good writer that will help you with Gray ( and be careful of not tiring yourself up with so much stuff!)

hmmm out of curiosity, since james too is very dominant, if you make gray super dominant will you be able to give us the option too to be aggressive/dominant back? because one of the things that have been a bit disappointing for me a bit so far for james is that even with the aggressive option it doesn’t quite have that....oomph for the lack of a better word. and personally i don’t like guys that are too submissive even as i prefer to play a dominant mc (not that i won’t still enjoy it anyway because...yes fending is hot) which...brings me to the point i want to ask but when we choose an dominant/aggressive MC for Gray, would we be able to be EQUALLY aggressive and dominant as he is? because there is definitely a certain charm (and i know i’m probably in the deep minority for this) when two people with dominant/alpha personalities clash against each other and have the /sizzle/ of rivalry trying to one up each other or something along those lines, yknow? i hope i make sense
