On our website we've added a third preview for the upcoming release of the Age of Fantasy World Book. You can check out the previous articles if you want here, if you want to look at the history of Tyria or the Planes beyond Tyria.
With those out of the way, we can take a deep dive into the societies of Tyria. The World Book will introduce some never before seen art on the people, locations, and creatures of the setting which will allow readers to immerse themselves in the Age of Fantasy setting.
This will be an excellent resource for those looking to understand the place of societies and individuals in Tyria, and we hope it will inspire many stories and campaigns from its readers!

Edge of the Radiance is an all new narrative campaign for Grimdark Future by One Page Rules launching this fall on MyMiniFactory's Frontiers. Two armies clash on a distant world with forces lead by four new Heroes and a full epic story to play through. This week we're going to be taking a closer look at two of those heroes: Sergeant Wou for the Eternal Dynasty and Druzhak for the Alien Hives.

Contest Categories: The contest is split up into categories, each with its own submission criteria, and each contestant may pick only one category:
Legendary - Paint this month's legendary model
Solo - Paint one single model from this month's release
Unit - Paint a unit of 5 small or 3 large models from this month's release.
Army (High Elf Fleets Only) - Send us a picture of your full army. Each army must have at least 30 models from OPR, and must include at least 1 hero model.
Rules: To participate, pick one category and share a high-resolution picture in square format via the Dropbox link below (leave a margin on the sides for re-sizing). Only one picture may be submitted, and you must use your Patreon username as the file name, or the submission will be discarded!

October is when the nightmares arrive for the Shadow Stalkers. The Fiends are what happens when folklore becomes reality; vicious large mouthed beasts with tentacle like appendages lashing out from their backs like the kind of monsters you hear in horror stories. The Great Fiend is larger and much more deadly, stalking unseen through the shadows until they grab hold with their tendrils to make sure their enemies can't fight back.
In October we also see the first release of the Human Defense Force. The Enforcer is the general that wont take to cowardice among his ranks, using any means necessary to keep his troops engaged in the combat. The APC is the backbone of the army to deliver troops to where they need to be as speed and quick strikes are a favored tactic used by the HDF.
Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

Second the concerns if the tank tracks, missiles and also the weird gun on the track guard design. It does immediately look like it wouldn't work as a design.

Hey, you are showing an armoured vehicle for the human defence forces but I don't get it on my mmf. I don't understand waiting for it since few months you show always glimpse of it but it never lands on my mmf. Did you release the human defence force yet?

Has the APC with 1950's tail fins and retro-raygun turret been tasked to clear the snow off of the parade square ?

Two suggestions to improve the tracks and really differentiate from most other wargame tanks: A proper drive sprocket and some suspension. The rearmost upper wheel on each side of the tank should be the drive sprocket that actually moves the tracks. The road wheels aren't powered and tank tracks don't work like belts on pulleys. The second suggestion is actual suspension behind each road wheel. A tank off-roading without any suspensions would literally break crew as they bounced and slammed into metal surfaces. The easiest suspension to put onto a model, and the most common on tracked armored fighting vehicles of any kind is torsion bar. Here's an example: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FyzMo0_aYAEaSro?format=png&name=900x900 I think these two changes would make any tracked vehicles look dramatically more realistic than most other sci-fi tanks out there, especially tanks by the guys in Nottingham.

Dark skin tones over Caucasian features just ends up looking strange and out of place unfortunately. And most people don’t have the skill or know how to sculpt in programs like blender or zbrush. Not to mention it’s a nightmare trying to edit stls it completely converts the mesh to tri’s (I imagine it’s some kinda slicing friendly format?). Idk, it’d just be nice to have a variety of ethnic options out of the box. It’s so rare to get anything other than generic Caucasian models which is a huge bummer. I’d really love to have some diversity in my army.

Looks to me like the missile launcher has hydraulics to lower it out of the way, and the raised section behind the turret is actually the port - side version of the same-looking structure nearer the viewer and at the very rear. In other words, there is a box on either side in the back, not one directly behind the turret.

I have the feeling they might come next year. But I don't think they'll come just after the HDF. Two human releases one after another could be a bit tiresome

I mean, the concept art can be whatever they want. But you can paint the mini whatever skin tone you want. And if you’re printing the minis yourself, you could probably go in the blender or whatever they call it and change some of the facial features if you want to go that deep

There’s a hatch covering the rocket if not in use. Hatch closed, turret can traverse normally. Hatch open, need some extra firepower. Would make more sense to stick out the side of the turret, but this is fine

Not a fan of that rocket placement making the turret essentially useless. I'm not sure who is in charge of designing your sci-fi line but they don't seem to understand simple mechanical concepts and it's really bringing down the whole line.

I like the tank, but I am concerned about the missile placement blocking the turret traverse. Will the missile be able to be mounted on the side of the turret or on the side of the tank?

I really like the look of the APC, but both the missile launcher and the raised sections at the back would get in the way of the turret rotating. Is there a way that could be addressed? Maybe raising the turret ring slightly, or having the missile launch vertically from the back of the APC?

Heyy I absolutly love the human defense force but would it be possible not to have all of the helmetless characters be all caucasian ?? I'd love to see some ethnical diversity I mean it's an entergalactical empire they won't all look the same
