The Deinonychus Riders for Starhost and Saurians were released in August as Legendary Dioramas. You can find them on MMF for purchase here: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-saurian-deinonychus-diorama-395877 https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-starhost-deinonychus-diorama-395876

I didn't really want to play a Guard proxy, but these make me want to!
Romuald ThΓ©ate
love those ODST helmets, they're perfect i have a few hundreds cadians but i might just print hundreds of those :p
nicholas carreau
These look super sick. I'm excited to spread democracy across the galaxy! Also, are we going to get gecko deinonicus riders for our starhosts, and saurians? I need these. NEED.
Alexis Radford
Loving the ODST meets New Conglomerate look of these. Love everything... except that banner topper. It's too busy and unwieldy. Between the star amd the Hilt and what ever that shape is supposed to represent. I think it needs to be toned down... just a bit.
Cory Vickruck
Nice sculpts, I would love to see a chain sword but one which resembles a hand and a half sword. Either way very exciting to see these troopers!
Jayce Bowdal
FOR DEMOCRACY!!!
Andrew M
I'm super excited for this release. Some real New Conglomerate + Titanfall + Dark Age of Technology stuff going on and that's exactly what I've been wanting
Sternmeyer
Been waiting for HDF. Looks like I won't be disappointed. Thanks for your hard work.
Alex Santelli
I am never a Human faction enjoyer but these HDF look so cool actually
Forrest Wentworth
Wow. These are some of the best sci-fi soldiers I've seen. It looks to be the right amount of detail for painting too. I only have one thing I don't like. The 1985 cellphone just looks wrong to me. Would it be possible to change it for something more tablet-like? Or maybe make it an option?
C.W. Elliotte
Sometimes heroic scale minis can look a bit weird as a 3D render, but I suspect it'll seem more reasonable when you print them out, and they're lil tiny guys in your hand.
Silvis
Usually I find humans to be the boring faction but the armour looking inspired by Halo ODST hits me right in the nostalgia. The weapons look good too. These might be the first human models I find interesting enough to paint in a sci-fi setting. Looking forward to it.
Dun Grizzly
Desire to know more intensifies. One more thing. If we're keeping the "finger off the trigger" detail, the Srg and squad banner bearer models also should not be squeezing it. Great work nonetheless guys.
Daniel Jay
Counterpoint; it looks cool
Adam
I like the designs mostly, but what's up with the ridiculously oversized feet? They are veering dangerously close to Sideshow Bob territory.
Wise Penguin
I think the side tube on the flamer serves no purpose and will make painting the gun a bit more complicated. The cannister is already attached to the gun, so there should be no reason why to have that tube going on the side.
DocKnocks
I was searching for some HDF proxy minis cause I didnt want to get Millitarum models, and saw this update. So happy, cant wait to see OPR take on Battle brothers and different chapters.
Allan Rodda
Damn, the HDF weapons actually look like they function. I know that's not something I should be surprised at, but frankly the ball has been dropped a few too many times with the other factions.
onepagerules
The object you might be interpreting as a "side gun sight" is meant to be a laser pointer / flashlight (depending on how you want to paint it up). :)
Alex Anzola
I actually like that model the best. Very Starship Troopers style, with heavy Comms equipment to bypass the enemy's countermeasures. The flamer guy could really lose the hose, tho.
Shadow fund
.... Are we calling in artillery from the 1960's.
Alex Anzola
The HDF is looking good. Very Doom or Halo like.
Genitacles
HDF is honestly looking like it will be my favorite release line in the last two years! I'm so looking forward to some kitted out but kickin' baseline humans
Mike Davies
I love the look of the HDF. I admit I wasn't excited for the idea of a human guards force, but these guys look awesome!
Siobhan Bjorknas
The choice to use axes instead of fists (presumably) is inspired
Helmut
The design of the hdf is awesome. Hopefully heads will be seperate. And please please dont do to much miniatures standing on tactical rocks, bags, chests, etc
Martijn
Love almost all models, i really like the take on the melee weapons and am really curious what the rules for the railgun will be. Not the biggest fan of the flamer though to me it feels like the fuel tank is weirdly placed maybe if it was turned in line with the gun it would work better
Garboq
Absolutely love the aesthetics for the HDF, will be printing myself a full army.
DrunkenDumkoff
I love the near future look and vibe of all the models, but i'm not really a fan of the flamer and the side gun sight just confuses me. Would you like to know more?
Patrick Spelsberg
Spaceship Troopers!!! I love it!!!
PoodlesWithGuns
100% in for dogs as long as i get some representation!
Corpsemaker
I like the look of all of these models except for the standard bearers. If they were holding their pistols out, or at a high ready I think they would look much better! The current pose just looks a bit lazy with a pistol. I love the overall beefy look of the armor, well done!
nasso
Looove the HDF! Looks like something that is doable on FDM! Amazing! Will definitely try printing!
HabMichVerlaufen
Could be the camera angle, not sure π
HabMichVerlaufen
Great Minis - all I hoped for π€ Just the boots feel a bit chunky
Notimeforwargames
HDF look super slick, excited to see OPR take on the rest of the human faction!
Lukas Eisenring
HDF have strong UNSC vibes. Love it!
Jordan Walters
Didn't go into this expecting to want to build an HDF army, but here we are! Looking fantastic so far :D
PoodlesWithGuns
Dude the HDF look so good! That flamer though looks a little odd. But all the other guns look amaze. Especially love the energy Axe.
Mukuwa
I really like the HDF look! Strong ODST vibes.
Eric Gaillard
I'm guessing they're using their earpiece to communicate with their nearby commander, and using the radio to relay that message to the fleet in high orbit.
BanesShadow
Duuuuude, HDF looks amazing! Looking forward to getting these guys loaded up into the printer!
Kyle Bentley
I really like the looks of the HDF, especially the versions with the full face visors. I'm hoping we'll also get some with a bit heavier armour as well. The only misses for me are the radio operator, who I think would look a lot better with advanced comm gear built into his backpack and helmet, and the tube on the flamer, but that will be easy to remove.
Kyle Bentley
I agree. Something like a cluster of antennas and some more electronics added to his backpack and helmet would work a lot better than the current setup, where he seems to be lugging three different radios around.
Lloyd Leeper
Not sure about the radio person. Got an earpiece (it seems from the way they tap their ear) but are holding a honking big WW2-type walkie-talkie plus carrying a big suitcase radio. The earpiece works. The other two donβt, even in a grimdark setting. High tech commo is easier than the high tech weapons theyβre carrying, which is why I always have a problem with that sort of thing.
onepagerules
Yes. An entry with both the models will be added to your library where you'll be able to download them.
Bacour
Oh hells yes!! Gimme some HDF!!
Xalia
WIP shots are looking great. Very simple but satisfying designs. Can't wait to start printing these.
Lucas Bittencourt
DANG!!! HDF are AMAZING!!!! I definitely didn't expect to love them this much! haha Apparently I'll have a third "main" army now, after Dwarves and Saurians.
Robert A. Nolan
Will the two minis from Edge of Radiance be added to our MMF library automatically?
DORPscorp
Damnation! I didn't want a HDF Force, but now I want one in green armor for some reason. Great renders!
Rigger Mortis FPV
HDF designs are a home run, well done.
Alexandre Baraldi
Can't wait for finally start my first grim dark army
Big Dog Matt
I think their minions/ sidekicks should be dogs. Different breeds for different models. Ex: German Shepherd for the commander, bulldogs for veterans, St. Bernard for medic, etc.
