Also Austria-Hungary would be in the Entente, because Russia is in the Central Powers. That means Italy would join the Central Powers.

I could see WW1 not being this 4 year long horror war for europe, but a 1 year one, where France is simply overwhelmed, and from there Europe is dominated by Germany, meanwhile Russia expands southwards into the british colonies of Asia. The 20 century would not be a time of destroyed empires and war of Capitalism vs communism, but a continuation period, where the Empires of europe have peace at home, but the colonies face greater maintenance, as Independence groups gain more power via the advance of technology and possible aid from America.

Imagine if the Taiping and Shimabara Rebellions happened, so China and Japan get involved in a Protestant-Catholic relationship, with the Russians exacerbating it with Orthodoxy.

You know, I now want to know how the heck does this China last the 20th century without the Communist Revolutions. Assuming that Russia is allying with the Central Powers in this timeline of events and China is siding with the Allie Powers, how would WW1 and WW2 presumably be different with Russia having to fight China instead of Germany? Also, assuming that Russia doesn't turn into the Soviet Union, who would the Cold War be against the US then?
