What if Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated Nixon? -> POD: Instead of canceling his visit to Dallas in April of 1963 (shortly after Oswald attempted to kill General Edwin Walker), Nixon goes, only to get shot (as Maria was unable to stop Oswald from leaving the house). 3. What if the Presidency had a three-term limit? -> POD: FDR’s intracerebral hemorrhage occurs in September 1944, before he could attempt to get his fourth term proper, thus in turn changing the creation of the 22nd Amendment.

Scenario 2: What if the Great Depression Never Happened? POD - Hard to pinpoint due to a lot of contributing factors but the most logical main POD is that the Wall Street Crash of 1929 just does not happen. Scenario 3: What if the Airplane was never invented? POD - The Wright Brothers and Santos-Dumont just don't invent the airplane and others stray away from the concept.

1. What is Frederick III of Germany hadn’t died of cancer and ruled the German Empire into the 1900’s. POD: Frederick cuts back on his tabacoo intake and doesn’t develope throat cancer in 1888. 2. What if the Japanese Imperials lost the Boshin War and causing the Meji restoration to fail? POD: The Monarchy loses the opening battle of Toba-Fushimi in 1868 allowing the samurai to keep their image and prestige. 3. What if British India remained unified after gaining independence in 1947? POD: Somehow an agreement is reached between the British, Hindus and Muslims to allow the Raj to remain intact after gaining dominion status. (Yeah this one I’m just throwing out there.)
