When all the rest of the heirs pass and choose the basic share instead, the lawyer executing the estate convinces the young man who's last on the list to alter his style and inherit a mansion.
It's a hard sell, but the will is designed to incentivize an heir even remotely inclined to accept its terms and the lawyer's a master negotiator who's got a personal interest in the matter. On top of that, the young heir finds the attention of this handsome lawyer intoxicating, and his personal charm is a major selling point.
