The most effective way to create positive outcomes out of curse: include curse in what is cursed to curse rot would be to heal.

Hey! Thanks for the detailed breakdown. Let me try an explain my thought process here. Haven’t finalized yet what I want to do. First, the tail. I just watched some of a video on it. Youtube has so little by the way on how tails work. I just found the one. The others were all about how sonic flies with his tail. I DONT CARE AAAAAAAAAAAA. Anyway. I described how the tail works in that way because I pictured it as being strong enough to very rapidly rotate Haell. So if her tail goes clockwise, then her entire body goes clockwise. But because of how circles work, then if the tail which is at the back goes left, then Haell’s body turns or rotates towards the right. Is pivot not the right word here? Think of it like a faucet with one handle. Haell’s tail is strong enough for her orientation to be rotated by many degrees when her tail moves. That’s actually not how the tails of earth animals work, as it turns out. The closest kind of tail I could find is for balancing or counter-balancing, so those tails I believe would behave differently. Whereas Haell is actually falling over herself more when she really uses her tail! Glad for that detail. And then I’m also glad I included this little tidbit: “FIND THE TIDBIT bout the extra additional force on the tail.” There is something even weirder going on, so this tail really functions differently to most tails. I think… Now, as for breaking the speed of sound. I think I’m going to have to just pull THIS card. The laws of physics are different in this world. The anatomic mastery is a good idea. It’s been theorized that maybe everyone has at least some of it, if impossibly weak. OR the presence of mana in everything causes shit to behave differently in reality. There is plenty of precedent. With forest fires not lasting indefinitely, to how diseases function. I’ll have to find out how, but maybe I’ll give high-level people the ability to just wall-run. Feet or hooves or whatever are almost magnetized or attracted to the ground… but even stronger for a planet’s surface. Creatures instinctively ride on gravity. I don’t know yet! I’ll figure it out. I like that last one best for now. Problem is… I don’t think Haell knows really how aerodynamics work enough to recognize these things and differences. It’s even outside of Moonwash’s wheelhouse too. She’s never been an expert on how bodies move. I’ll have the ground crack… and maybe crater slightly(?) the next time Haell goes for a run outside. Oh and additionally, she went for more mass and volume this evolution, but Haell has forged her body denser for the last two. Her biologics are even heavier than her already large size might suggest. Lastly, back to an earlier point, I believe I’ve outright stated that physics does work differently in this world, like with the whole mana in everything in shit maybe, but I can’t seem to find the exact quote. There’s this that does work decently well from chapter 2, but it’s not what I’m thinking of… [ Clearly, this world ran on an entirely different kind of logic than my own. What was previously impossible may now be mundane. The laws of physics have been tossed right out the window, replaced by actual fantasy. Reality could be bent to the whims of magic and Status! So how could there ever be any limits!? ] The context is quite a bit different. I think there’s either a scene where Haell monologues about it better. Unless if that got cut out or never left the confines of my mind to begin with. I only got 2 matches for the amount of times I mentioned physics in this book.

Great Chapter! Not so great physics... I noticed two things you might want to consider doing something about. The first is simple: "tail to the right, and felt myself immediately pivot left" if she swings her tail to the right, the counterforce would mean that the rest of her body ALSO turns right. The second thing is a bit harder to fix. Namely, all the issues that are created with running at supersonic speeds. But here is the main thing: For one, air resistance increases exponentially the faster something moves. For Haell, who is roughly humanoid in shape and thus not AT ALL aerodynamic, that would become a VERY big problem VERY fast. (all puns intended) This compounds with the problem caused by her means of propulsion. Let's take a rocket for example. They can accelerate very quickly, very fast, and their propulsion mechanism has two very specific properties that make that possible. The first property is that their propulsion is applied on their exact vector of movement. The second property is that their propulsion does not rely on ground contact. Next, lets look at a car. A cars manner of propulsion, namely its wheels, apply propulsion along the direction of the road, which is also the preferred vector of movement for a car. But a car also relies on ground contact for propulsion and steering. Both of those compound into the problem that the faster a car goes, the more likely it gets that it lifts off the ground. Not enough to start flying, but enough to lose control of steering. In cars, that problem is addressed through the use of spoilers, which apply ground-force. Or in other words, upside-down wings that press the car into the ground stronger the faster it goes. Now, what about Haell? She is exceedingly un-aerodynamic with NO ground-force. She also relies on ground contact for propulsion. But most importantly, human (or demon) anatomy does not work like cars or rockets. When we move, we do not propulse our bodies exactly along our intended vector of motion. Instead, with every step, we apply force forwards and upwards. This means one of two things would happen. Either, Haell tries to put as much power as possible into moving forward. Which would be possible. But without a counterforce to keep her hooves firmly against the ground, they would simply slip out from under her, more so once she needs exponentially more force to overcome air-resistance and her bad aerodynamics. The other option is that she would stop "running" once she surpasses a certain speed and instead begin to simply jump very far. Kinda like a galloping horse, but more exagerated and without two extra legs to reduce the time without ground-contact. Another issue would be that most types of ground would simply be unable to resist such forces, resulting in either her legs sinking deep into the ground, or simply shooting out a bunch of earth behind her. Either way, she would loose most strength she puts into accelerating in the process. Overall, a humanoid being running at mach speeds simply doesn't work. NOW! There is a simple solution to this problem. Haell could work on developing an anatomic mastery that basically anchors her hooves in place whenever they touch the ground, serving as a kind-off ground-force. Which, if done right, would allow her to both, an unstoppable force, but also an immoveable object. And if you don't want to "fix" this chapter, you COULD simply argue that Haell didn't notice that Pandemonium helped her out by shaping her stable footholds wherever she went. In which case she would have to notice either via Moonwash pointing it out when she sees Haell running around the next time, or by horribly faceplanting once she tries running all out outside of Pnademoniums sphere of influence. Sorry for the wall...
