Night with Timber - v0.7 test build

finished... the route after that ;) the man, the myth, the legend....
~37k wordcount now, but i think that includes a couple scenes that aren't accessible ingame yet. it's a long game... this novel.......
some more of the art is finished i think... sorry i didn't keep track of which ones
one route remains, i'm expecting it to be on the shorter side. i did not finish the second rabbit ending yet, and epilogues for all routes are planned so stay tuned for those.
this is sort of the dark content update so um, if you enjoyed everything up to wolf route and are satisfied with that, you don't have to play this one... if you're nervous about it, check the content warnings from the game page or ending screen... HHHWWHWHH AAAAA i'm very nervous but it's very good so i'm excited to hear people's thoughts.

IM SO.. HAPPY... YES TO ALL OF THIS.. THANK YOU so glad you love him now, that is basically my goal with this game... i would also die for timber.
CD-Call
Okay finally played every route and got all the endings. First of all: I LOVE TWIGS! PLEASE LET TWIGS BE CANON! The wolf route actually made me like Timber, where previously I hadn't had much of an opinion on him. He's like a better-written version of a character from a different visual novel. He's not a good person, but I'd be lying if I said he had much of a say in that. The way he and Twigs bond over shared pain, and Twigs being stopped from downplaying it hit really close to home for me. So damn good, got me actually choked up. I got through that like "Aww that was really sweet" then I unlocked the Captor Key and went "OH NO! NAMI WHY?!" Second of all, how many times do we have to teach Osmanthus this lesson? Can we get Syrup and Toffee back up here to kick his ass again? Osmanthus and Senbei are truly loathesome creatures, I'd like to bury them in the same coffin. Got me with the Thyme fakeout btw Osmanthus is a corrupt cop (redundant?) and is loathesome by nature. Wormy little bastard taking advantage of a high social position to get away with shit that would have him getting kicked to death by two polycules. Senbei... bravo for writing one of the most hateable characters I've seen in a long time. It's very effective. It's nauseating and I had to take four breaks, but holy shit what a performance. You could write straight up horror if you wante-OH I JUST NOTICED THE RABBIT PATTERNS IN THE DITHERING! I love how much of a wormy, pathetic little shit he is. At first I was uncomfortable playing as him, but then I realized I get to see what an insecure little fuck he is in real time. Marvellous. Senbei's entire route cemented how little I really care about whatever Timber's supposedly doing. TImber could go full moon on Frosting and I'd be like "Majestic. Wonderful. Truly iconic." Not sure if that's the intended effect, but good lord this whole situation is fucked up and I just want to see Senbei fall into a big hole. First started up the last build like "I don't really get the Timber hype" and now I'm like "Fuck you I'd fucking die for Timber!"
