Automatic updates make sense for Mint and would even for Ubuntu, as long as you can opt out of it. I manage a fleet of about 500 ubuntu machines for different schools and clients, and I would love for automatic updates to come preconfigure. While I'm here I'd thought I'd ask do you have any good linux eq solution for usb mic? Can't seem to find a way to manage my mic without jumping into Jack and stuff ...
