I’m glad you guys liked it! Although the MV is upbeat, I felt like the lyrics were kind of dark. Like with Suga’s Shadow and RM’s Persona, Ego seems to continue with the identity theme. J-Hope (the ego) does it’s best to lock away memories of Hoseok, and his descriptions of Hoseok’s life are kind of depressing. I watched the MV before reading the lyrics and got goosebumps by the contrast.
