Small and quick but very relevant comment. There's a very clear and inverse relation between security/privacy and convenience and there really is no way around it, zero ways around it, just can't be done. One just have to pick what is most important to you, or find a middle ground. One can opt to only use cash to not have stores track you, but then chances are your bank will track you for when you withdraw cash and so on. Complete zero trust doesn't exist in the real world unless you opt to live in the forest, in a tent, grow your own food, and leave your mobile in your previous home ... :-D
