Making mold of molds
🕑 Added 2022-01-12 21:00:04 +0000 UTCI've had such a high production of resin dragons that its come to a point I wear out my current molds faster than expected.. over and over again. So im trying the mold-of-mold approach so I never have to do the clay process again after this. The final mold plates are what I replicate off of for new silicone halves.
I have 2 new small resin dragon designs i'll work on during spring this year. I'll apply this same process for all future ones!

to be fair even just sculpting by taking care and paying attention to the fact that you will have to make molds later takes a lot of skill and making molds in such a way that you can bring out the scultures is an art of itself. thanks for all of this. ❤️
