The mod adds an in-game walkthrough, a gallery unlock button, help option during freeroams, an option to see multiple paths, a cheat menu (on the Heart screen), and allows using keyboard numbers for menu choices.

This doesn't sound like a mod issue. If you haven't used the other mod, don't use the save fixer. Try adding this default screens file into /game folder, that could help: https://pixeldrain.com/u/C2G6rDcS

PC version btw. When i start a new game and it asks for my name, text is back in the normal spot. Then when there's a speaker it all shows up top left again.

I added nothing but your mod. Both the speaker name and dialogue show up in top left even though the textbox displayes normally. Even happens on a fresh new game, and after I add the file for if we'd used another mod in the past.
