Which kind of environment do you prefer? Old or new environment?

When I started doing this project, my goal was to make Paper Mario 64 with The Origami King/Color Splash graphic style.
Which version do you think looks better?

The new backgrounds are beautiful! But overall I prefer the TTYD look

I definitely go for as old original look as possible. Like a contemporary form of the original look, storybook feel.
The origami kingdom look great, that's for sure. But the artwork look exactly like the name imply ''Origami'' mostly visible on trees. While i also love The thousand years door artwork which i feel fit better the older games. Maybe it's just nostalgia.

I go straight with the old one, its less paper mache and better looking for the game

I prefer a mix of both, new one looks great but I also like the old one in some cases
I really prefer the modern one, it looks better and hits better, the old one I see very meh
