March-April theme poll, let's go!

New poll is here! New themes are here! I've been thinking about "what would be interesting for me personally", so decided to give them a go.
As always you can check the existing themes in the spreadsheet below to propose new ideas, which will appear in the future polls. Also - if i did not add something you already proposed, please do it again as i tend to forget doing that.

All my polls are held in a following manner: Initial poll will have several subjects and if none of them will reach 50%+1vote, I will make second round with only two most popular choices.
1. Female operators (previous second place)
Well... operators but female. Plate carriers, assault panels/chest rigs, military uniforms, mix of western weapons. They are stuck in "always if but never when" situation for quite a while, which is an interesting turn of events.
For Corporal will be a 4+4 minis
For Sergeant will add extra heads and some additional weapons
2. PLA assaulters (new theme)
Chinese army's modern-ish assault elements, not much to add. I'm thinking more about c.2015-16, not ultramodern (because ultramodern is yet again generic plate carriers). Armored vests with groin plates, mix of QBZ-95 and QBZ-191.
For Corporal will be a 4+4 minis with QBZ-95 variants
For Sergeant will add extra heads and QBZ-191
3. Russian SSO in Syria, c.2016 (new theme)
Since the Syrian civil war seems to came to the end, I'm lifting the self-imposed ban on making models referenced from it. So here we go, the Russian spetsnaz unit in the desert. What makes it different (aside from AK) from Western SOF is that SSO in Syria were wearing quite a heavy armor kits (not NAWE Octopods level, but pretty close), which may make this set quite impressive and interesting
If you like this theme, i'll consider expanding it into Syrian gvt army and unnamed "freedom fighters" as an opfor in future polls.
For Corporal will be a 4+4 minis with upgraded AK-74 and PKP
For Sergeant will add extra heads and probably some interesting weapons
4. Combat Octopods Jagdgruppe "Verlorene" (monthly special - THREE MONTHS RELEASE)
They make a comeback alright ;p
Specialized search-and-observe squads of SIN division, the Verlorene are tasked with investigating the areas of supposed undeath incidents and act as a first response, foreshadowing the arrival of heavier killteams (such as Tranquilizers).
Since in my headcanon they're German-originated, i want them to be very German in looks.
They'll be wearing mix of BW Smocks and some more modern stuff, light gear, German field caps and big backpacks as a most distinctive features. As for heads they'll have a mix of covered faces (you may get a first impression from my Halloween heads), uncovered damaged faces (with big ugly scars and overall facial damage) and anything that will fit the theme of evil-looking Jagers.
Month 1: Jägereinheit (four operators with UMP45 and G3) and some extra cool stuff for Sergeants
Month 2: Feldkontrolle und Unterstützung (squad leader, field analytic, medic and drone operator) and some extra cool stuff for Sergeants
Month 3: Scharfschützeneinheit (two sniper pairs with bullpup rifles and spotters) + WA2000 for Sergeants (yes i love this gun, it is weirdly beautiful)

You never know how poll will end, if provided with option :D I would never have guessed that female operatives will be so popular taking second place several months in a row :D

I would also like to see more other "less popular" nation army troops, as I see it there is already tons of Russians, Germans, Americans, insurgents in many types and variations. I understand that they are less popular and less demanded and I don't expect full lineups of them but still I would like to see them at least to some extent. For example I would really love to see some of Scandinavian troops or Baltic states troops.

in this case we'd need to speak about "the pack of four modular Sam Fishers", which is kinda well-above the number most of ppl ever need ;p Characters are interesting, but they can't be interchangeably modular and that is what most ppl come here for (i guess?)

Agreed but I think any proposed set would need to be roughly sketched out beforehand- a few times something has won the vote and then there's been silence when CO asks everyone what they want.

Well while I'm not specifically against those, all my attempts for such themes were... not particularly successful I'd say. There is a big difference between company just making sets they want for rules they made and me trying to figure out what exactly did voters actually vote for (which was the same case for covert/overt, intel and criminal guys), because everyone has their own image of what they expect and thus half the ppl who voted for theme will always be unhappy about it.

Would love to see more operatives, covert operatives, infiltrators, and breachers. Breacher by BlackSite Studios is my new favourite skirmish game. I would love to see more miniatures for this game.

I'd happily take anything _other_ than more Russian troops or more criminals at the moment. I think the recent sets have been very satisfying but I'd like to see a change away from that for a little while.

I think you have done great female minis. As you say not alot of difference with all that kit. People who want "pinups" type stuff can find plenty of that else were.

A question for a civil discussion among the whole community i guess. The very phenomenon of being long-standing 2nd means that a lot of ppl here are interested in specifically female (or at least more slender/feminine-looking, cuz you can't see the, ahem, "female" parts under the body armor) minis. The biggest issue for me as a sculptor with them is essentially the same as with criminals etc - every voter has his own ideas of how they should look like, which means everyone will be sort of disappointed ;p

As female operators sticks with us in almost every poll and comes 2nd place several times I must ask: why female operators? Its not like women are overly represented in any SF/SoF/inf units. I really don't want to come across as misogynic or anything here i just don't see where i need to be a theme of its own? Doing a few women here and there where its plausable as with the contractors and snipers should be enough imo.
