They aren't very comfortable, but Vans does make some more comfortable versions these days.

Funny Dante mentions the vans don’t hurt his feet as he gets older as I stopped wearing vans for that reason. I love vans and will probably pick up a pair to wear occasionally again as I miss it. Granted I wore mine for two years before getting a new pair which might be why my feet hurt after a day…
