If the grid goes down long term, losing cryptos will be the least of your worries.

Deborah. You are looking at a worse case scenario. If things really get that bad then the least of your problems will be electricity. You will utilize your crypto and move where there is electricity. The crypto will allow you the benefit to afford this luxury. To access your tokens, you simply needs a generator temporarily to get to your account and access enough to make your getaway.

This is the one haunting negative I see with cryptos... no electric? no access! A generator is not going to help if the grid is down where you live. Please tell me I am wrong! Any precautions? Generator and satellite access?
