It’s called opsec and personal responsibility. Much higher degree required for crypto. FDIC insured brokerages exist now- like Robinhood - if you prefer someone hold your crypto assets for you.... sucks for victims big time though, no doubt.

This is THE major flaw of crypto's. There is no fraud protection offered. If you pay for something in cryptos, and you don' t receive that something, there is zero recourse. Unlike with banks, paypal, and credit cards, which offer remuneration after fraud is committed.

I was scammed multiple times when I got into this space 5 years ago....l lost Ethereum, EOS, PPT, LTC and more. I still get sick to my stomach thinking about it but don't let these pukes ruin this once in a lifetime opportunity and learn from the experience. i hope everyone sends you whatever there able to afford.

There's also the scam that has been around that Elon Musk is giving away free Bitcoin.. they say if you first send him BTC he will send double back
