I honestly believe this to be true along with other ailments,
I'm sorry to hear all of that William. That's a lot to deal with. As for convincing them, don't feel bad... you can't change people.
I personally lost my parents and my sister parents are one thing and i do not think it was due to COVID although my father died,I believe with it ,my mother passed before him with out it,but my sister passed with lymph node cancer that came on suddenly after vaxxandbosted. A co-worker has brain cancer which came on suddenly,vaxx,God knows i tried to tell him to think about what i had shared,but since jobs where at stake, the fear of losing them won,and he is not the only co-worker " these people have become my beloved friends," that followed suit,and problems are occuring , I have lost work family and my own personal family, i wish I could have convinced them better.
