Could this be done with their M-die/24GBx2 kit? F5-6000J2636G24GX2-TZ5NR... Wondering how the timings would change for M-die...
Actually Hardcore Overclocking (Buildzoid)
no
Pro4TLZZ
Can I buy your kit?
Actually Hardcore Overclocking (Buildzoid)
no because verifying PBO stability especially curve optimizer is a massive time sink.
GreenJoy
Are you doing any CPU overclock when running these timings, e.g. PBO? Or is everything else set to default in the BIOS? Thanks!
Actually Hardcore Overclocking (Buildzoid)
I can't verify 6600 1:1 because I don't have any CPUs that can run it
Oliver Ip
Hey bullzoid, do you got timings for hynix M die 2x24gb, at 1:1 6600? I can easily do 6400 but im not sure what timings to use for 6600. thanks!
Patrick McFarland
The name of the die is just how manufacturers internally refer to their internal product lines. Since these aren't average people, they're just letters (or in some cases, I think, numbers). The dies used in the kind of DDR5 performance users, gamers, and overclockers are interested in, from SK Hynix, are A and M. Micron doesn't yet have anything we're super interested in, but their new inexpensive 24gbit chips are I think either B or C, and Samsung has absolutely nothing we're interested in, and they're at least at B now.

Got these timings to work. I just can’t get the PHYRDLs to match, any tips?

Always love your detailed content! One thing I don't think I've heard yet is a definition of "A die" vs. "B die" vs. ??? You mention that as sort of a defining feature or something to look for, but I haven't grokked (not the AI product!) the meaning yet...
