Some thoughts about the gameplay

For the last few days, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I can improve the semi-open world, and I’ve come to the conclusion that my idea of raising the parameters in the WifeSpy app was not the best, to put it mildly. I’ve been thinking about what is wrong with this system, and I’ve come up with the following options to solve the current problem (yes, I do believe that it is a problem).
1) I think that in most cases it is better to restrict access to content based on the progression in other branches instead of the value of a certain parameter. Let me illustrate it with an example: at the moment, to continue the branch of the boss, you have to increase the cheating and corruption parameters to a certain level. This is what I call a restriction based on the parameter value. Another example: it is only possible to continue the job branch if the wife reaches a certain point in Jenna’s branch. Jenna will send her certain pictures and discuss certain things with her. This is what I call restriction based on the progression in other branches. So, I think the gameplay will feel more natural if certain branches require you to reach certain points in other branches instead of requiring a certain parameter value. Increasing parameters isn’t really exciting for the players. The parameter value will still influence certain things sometimes, but the process of getting points to increase them will be different (see point 2).
2) This is, in part, a continuation of the first point: you’ll get parameter points as you progress through the various branches in the game. For instance, if Jenna talks to the MC’s wife about certain things, the wife’s parameters will be increased by a certain value.
3) I think I will completely remove the ability to increase skills (except hypno spam) from the WifeSpy app and add lines used to execute certain commands (you can see something like that in the Control App). Hypno spam will be sent to targets in the future (it’s not sent at the moment), but it won’t dramatically increase parameters because parameters won’t be that important. Content-based restrictions will play a more important role.
To summarise everything mentioned above, I’m thinking about removing the option to increase and decrease parameters in its current form and making parameters increase gradually as you progress through the game and depend on the player’s choice. Access to the content will be restricted based on your progression in different branches instead of the parameter value. The mind control elements that simply increase and decrease parameters will be removed. I’m going to add commands that will unlock when you reach certain points in the storyline. Hypno spam will remain, and hypho gifs will be sent to your targets, but they won't play an important role, only increasing parameters when it is needed (like in the son’s feminisation branch that doesn’t depend on any other branches).

i have a idea for improvement here just is just a trivial thing so it doesn't really matter but i know this can be a problem for some players, can you add a skip intro part that skips the fluff text and just gives you the options, i have a auto clicker so when i restart the game to try new routes or to restart since soft block i can skip the fluff text but alot of players can't do that. its fine either way i just thought it would be good food for thought. thank you for reading this

dude - i'm really impressed by your game. I'm really enjoying it, and the fact that you're not milking your patrons by giving them a huge amount of content every update made me be one :D And about the post - i think "app driven" parameters are not necessary. I mean - the game is good as it is, but i didn't really see a reason for that feature as for now :D Only your wife's choices should change parameters in my opinion. Hypno spam would be good from time to time though, just to give you a chance to "help" e.g your wife make a decision if she's not sure of something. But i'm not an expert - just keep working on that game , cuz it's freakin fantastic!
