i won't spoil the halloween zine too much, but yesterday i spent some time compiling some (thematic) pages on bogs 🌱🔎 very satisfying to have found a way to include them 😅
aside from that and the video, some final photos from the last couple of days:

the next week i'll be working really hard to try and finish the halloween zine- i'm currently aiming for 13 A5 pages, which feels a little sad but i'm trying to remove it would be twice as many if i was working smaller 💭 at least if i get a solid few done, then i can add to it a little more over time (if people are interested). i'm also still aiming to include a sticker sheet or two in the halloween release (some of the ceramic-style ghosts, and some of the other elements from the zine, most likely).
once the halloween work is wrapped up, i'll focus on preparing the new/revised A5 filofax pages for you all. appreciate your patience in waiting for these! 📑

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I went through something similar in august, and found the feelings strangely difficult to sit with. I hope you're able to recover some peace and joy in journalling soon- or that the absence of it becomes easier to bear.

Interesting to know, but I think I'd still be too nervous to consider it without being able to see it in person before buying. Also yes, the 11m rings would definitely be a problem for me, it's so little paper 😅 thanks for the additional info!

This is what I do! When I made a TN-sized rings it came with two sets of rings, so might make an A5 as well!

Absolutely here for the bog footage (and bog/outdoors attire, my other semi-ironic aesthetic, lol). I'm currently in TN standard but your video just underscored all of the reasons I miss my A5, and am pretty sure I'm going to switch back (or to a rings version) once I'm done my current notebook (hilariously, the convoluted SI release bought me just enough time to realize this, lol). On that note, no idea if it would work, but I have an A5 yuruliku pencase that I use to tote multiple A5 size books and things around (will post pic to discord) but it can hold a lot, the fabric stretches decently, and already does allow for some overhang. Great video as always, really enjoyed the adventures!

really loved this video, especially the bog part. it's so nice to listen to you talk about something you are so passionate about. i haven't really been journaling recently & that has been weirdly calming. i feel increasingly restless about "finding the best system", too many options. but it has been nice seeing you find some calmness in your filofax.

Absolutely relate to the memory and energy levels. Been loving my ipad for this reason as well! Question for you, how do you type up your pages? Do you use the on-screen keyboard or a physical one? I’m struggling to find the best system for myself and was curious how you do it 🥰

I have a few Plotters, I the plasticky texture is only on the shrink leather. The pueblo has a rough texture and the liscio is your typical smooth leather feel. You can also order them from amazon.jp or I know Atlas Stationers, Dromgoole's and Yoseka carry them, they might ship to the UK. In any case though, I actually think you'd hate it. The rings are 11mm, yours would be full after a week. You'd also need to use a different hole punch, or trim the inside edge of your papers so that they fit properly in the rings. I love my plotters, but I think you'd really regret spending the money with how you like to use rings.

It looks like you can make one of those binder with a ring mechanism and a piece of leather by yourself. wuzhi could be a choice. you can shop one from etsy.
