Announcing New Tiers!
🕑 Added 2024-06-03 22:17:24 +0000 UTCMy girlfriend and I are pleased to announce new Patreon tiers! I have been working hard behind the scenes with other creators to give our patrons a new way to enjoy our mocaps. In addition to our VaM scenes, you will be able to watch our mocaps as ultra HD rendered videos, both in VR and desktop video players. We are doing this for 2 reasons: 1. There's a lot of people out there who would enjoy our mocaps who don't play VaM; we want to reach that audience and give them a chance to experience our sexy and cuddly mocaps. 2. The videos are rendered with higher quality visuals than anything people are used to seeing inside VaM; this includes very high definition lights, shadows, and post-processing, rendered at a solid 90 FPS with no performance issues. In addition, we will be releasing funscripts to accompany these videos, which are created using the actual motion capture data. The 4K version of our first video will be released to all of you, our current patrons, as a thank you for supporting us! I know you guys probably have some questions, so I will address some of those likely concerns below. Here's how the new tiers look:
$6: VR and POV videos
$8: VaM scenes (no change)
$10: VR and POV videos, plus matching funscripts
$15: Full access to everything
This is going to be a really fun project that will open doors for us in the future. We will be advertising these videos on multiple websites and on social media. More details to come on that later!
NOTE: If you are on the $8 tier, you can find the 4K version of our first video in the OneDrive link, under the folder called "Videos". I will keep it there for a couple months, so you guys have a chance to check it out!
FAQ:
Do I need to update my tier to continue getting VaM mocaps?
-No, if you would like to stay on your current tier, you do not need to do anything. We will continue to make and distribute VaM scenes as normal.
What will I get if join the $15 full access tier?
-You will continue to receive VaM mocaps as usual, plus rendered videos of those mocaps . These will come as 3D VR videos, and also 2D POV videos for those who do not have a VR headset. Each month a mocap will be released as multiple video versions, featuring a different VaM model each time, and sometimes a new voice to match. In addition, you will receive funscript files that sync with the mocap, including single-axis and multi-axis versions. You will also get to participate in special polls, such as which models should be featured in future videos.
How will this affect your current work? Will there be less mocaps now?
-My plan is to continue to release two VaM scenes per month, as usual. The quality of our work will not change, and we will do our best to stay on a regular release schedule. Rendering videos does take some extra time, but not enough to slow us down too much.
Does this mean that the Cuddle Mocap community will get flooded by non-VaM-users? Will you continue to listen to the VaM community?
-We are VaM creators, first and foremost, so the VaM community is the most important to us. I plan to make a distinct separation between announcements aimed at VaM users and non-VaM users, both on Patreon and on Discord.
Is there any advantage to 3D VR videos? Why would someone want that instead of VaM scenes?
In my opinion, VaM is superior to VR videos in almost every way. However, there are some distinct advantages to VR videos which might interest some of you. Here are the pros and cons:
3D VR Video Pros:
-Lower system requirements
-Perfect 90 FPS playback with no slowdowns and no pauses
-Can use extremely high quality settings without hurting performance (maxed out hair, lights, shadows, multiple people, etc)
-Lower learning curve, quick and easy to play
-Can utilize funscripts! Very accurate motion for toys
VR Video Cons:
-Cannot change the appearance or clothing, everything is pre-rendered
-No VR hands to interact with the model
-No 3D space, fixed location only (you can't shift your perspective)
-No UI or scene customization
How well do the funscripts work? Which toys will be supported?
-I paid a developer to make proprietary software that can generate accurate funscript data from our mocaps. They work very well, better than the VamLaunch plugin. Funscripts will come in a few varieties, including single-axis for toys like The Handy, and multi-axis for toys like the SR6. Any toy that can work with apps like ScriptPlayer or Multifunplayer will work with our funscripts.
Are VaM videos even worth watching? Why would someone want to watch those instead VR porn of real people?
VaM videos have a few advantages over real porn:
-Can render models and environments that you can't film in real life
-The VR camera POV is 100% stationary and always aligned correctly
-Sharper resolution, looks more clear
-Funscripts are generated from the actual mocap data, instead of estimated by hand
-Cuddles!! Our mocaps are intimate and cuddly, which isn't commonly found in the porn industry.

The funscripts are to be used specifically for videos. In VaM scenes, I convert the funscripts into data for VamLaunch that is built into the scene, so you don't need any external files.

Yao, That seems a bit labor intensive, opening the need for a customer service department to explain the science. Maybe we could just send cuddle our fav looks here and there, and they get incorporated when he can. Its not viable to ask for the magic in the magic sauce you know? But I am 100% speaking out of turn, this is not my rodeo.

Hahaha, yea no worries, I'll tell you what the plan is. XD I have been taking notes on some VaM looks that work well in our scenes and what the CC license is for them. We plan to render videos with many more looks than only Alana, changing up styles to fit people's wants. Since Alana is my poster girl, I thought it was appropriate to start with her first. This video, Cyberpunk Cowgirl, will be rendered multiple times with some changes each time. This includes using a different model and a different AI voice. I will also change clothing and lighting to spice it up and make it different than the last version. Then when the next mocap is ready to be made into videos, we will follow this process again. Sometimes we will reuse the same looks, but we'll fit in lots of variety.

Props on the roll out. I just want to make sure I understand. As a VAM user, I am so glad you don't bake on your expressions like other content creators do because I enjoy the flexibility of using different models in your scenes with no issues like crazy face or tongues that seem to randomly curl out of the mouth. With the videos, I would assume that you are limited to the model of your choosing seeing that it is obviously a video, duh. My question is if you will be introducing a variety of models in the videos, or will it always be the Alana? Variety is the spice of life, and I seem to have a new favorite VAM girl every 2 weeks. My ex-wife told me I had commitment issues... go figure eh? Keep up the great work!

Congratulations on the new tiers rollout, CM. And thank you, for all the amazing scenes that you have released thus far. When it comes to VAM content, your scenes feel the most comprehensive experiences from quality, polish, and engagement. I'm still stunned to this date, on how much quality is packed in your content for a $8/month. Thank you for and still providing an accessible and affordable tier to the CM universe. With yours and the community's help, I definitely have gotten a feel on how to use VAM -- from remix-modding to lite-scene creation, in a span of a couple months. Thank you and everyone in the discord for the answering my questions, troubleshooting, and inspiring me, as I continue my journey from player, to modder, and upcoming creator.
