Probably a new driver is required for the new OS. Check if there is a new one available on the manufacturer's website.

Yea, I'm sure you're right. Will go back to the old running system and wait it out a while.

it definitely has to do with the upgraded mac-version. i have similar problems with mine too. logicx, the new mac version and my scarlett audio interface dont want to work together :( maybe go back to an older running version (i am back on mavericks xD)
