Bits n Bobs
🕑 Added 2021-11-04 12:37:32 +0000 UTCI said I would try to find some tid bits as a "thanks for the support" during the featureless month and thankfully I have found them!
First one isn't technically an exclusive but chances are you haven't seen it - An interview I did with Twitcher WickedSupreme a couple of months ago. We went for nearly 2 hours and stayed on the topic of the channel pretty much the entire time so if you're a hardcore fan you should enjoy it. Sound quality is poor because my mic wasn't close enough to my face and Supreme's Air-con was off the chain but it's totally legible and should be fine with headphones.

The next two have nothing to do with crime, but I figured a lot of people who like the humor of the channel might get a kick out of them. They're conceptual ads I made for the radio station I worked at before becoming a YouTuber.
First up is the Datacom series. This was for an IT company that just wanted something creative to reiterate their brand. It was hell on earth coming up with the concept - how do you make a fun, non-corporate sounding ad series for pretty much the most corporate client ever? Once we got that concept though the scripting just flowed and I think the series is what I'm most proud of in my time as a radio creative.
Datacom Ads:
Similarly, the client Ecochem just wanted something fun. Had a few hit n misses with them and we were struggling as a station to think of a winning concept. During a brainstorming session we decided to turn that into the ad concept itself. A bit of a cop out - I mean you can only do that once really. I really like it none the less. I think I wrote the script for this in one sitting. Then me, our production engineer (Jamie Stratton who composed the song on the Bain video) and our station manager literally sat around a dynamic mic in the office and recorded 3 or 4 takes of this in real time. We used the last take (naturally) and I don't believe there's a single edit. It was cut up in to 5 or 6 parts which were randomly dropped in to ad breaks to give the listener the feeling that they were just dropping in to random parts of the brainstorming session.

Robot Alien
Best true crime on the internet.
Dead Heroes
Both of those ads were hilarious. I especially enjoyed the first one. It's obvious that your comedic flair adds quite a bit to your videos.

I love the interview, Matt. He asked you some questions that I’ve been wanting to ask. Things about your creative process and the “art” of making a video. You do a TON of work for us and I’m really appreciative. Added: I’m retired as a K9 Handler with Search & Rescue if you ever have questions about that stuff for your videos. My dogs went through yearly National certification with NAPWDA here in the USA. I had both Cadaver & Live Find dogs, each of which was trained differently. I still train dogs in my spare time.
