Alright, starting from the start and going chronologically from now. When Anthony Palma goes up I'll explain the sort of second half of the channel origin story, though we can probably just do that during the playing of the video given it's a lot longer.
Hope you like this, and as I mention, if the sound is a little off in my recording room then that should be rectified soon. Didn't sound too bad when I was putting this together, but either way it'll be better!

Iβll get it up on Patreon tomorrowβ¦might have to look into a choppy edit on YT, seems they might just be going after one or more clips of Hicks

This video + the original on YT are both blocked in the US due to copyright :( any chance of a reup?

It's not for everyone, but Back of The Y Masterpiece Television is an all time favorite NZ comedy of mine. I think all of it's on YouTube. Very puerile. Very New Zealand. I think just about everyone knows Flight of the Concords, but if not then definitely check them out.

Thank you so much Matt, absolutely love the creator commentary videos!! I was wondering if you are into Tim and Eric at all? And if there are any under rated New Zealand comedians people should know about

I never thought about this being a parody of JCS, but after watching it makes so much sense.

Thanks Leyna! I sort of bullet pointed the intro story so I knew what to hit. The commentary itself wasn't scripted at all. You can't reaaaaally do that if you want it to keep the authentic thoughts vibe, so I plan to keep doing those 100 percent raw/one take and just work on my umming and ahhing :)

Absolutely loved this. The first commentary wasn't bad per se, but I really really enjoyed this one. I liked getting a little peek into the history of you/the channel in addition to your commentary. Not sure if you scripted this one or not but the words seemed to flow easier this time around, and the little bit of background info (your real opinion of Leary, your rationale going into the video, why you chose to do certain things in it, etc) was neat! Looking forward to more commentary. π
