Yes! Thank you!

I'm suggesting you upload an alternate version of just the audio from the organ, like those performances you said you'd upload at some point to your second channel. Just the audio, with full dynamic range intact. Even if it's just in stereo or mono it'd be cool to hear how it sounds on a more robust sound system (I actually have studio monitors and a separate home theater, but I know not everyone does :P).

sorry, wish we could! this brings up an interesting problem with online video, overwhelmingly people are watching these videos on phones, so the dynamic range can't be much. But it also cheapens the video if played on a bigger better sound system. This video with full dynamic range played in a theater would be VERY cool. But we can't prioritize that hypothetical setting over what we know people are watching these one

So we brought it all to more regular levels. I think the only way to really get a grasp of it through video would be in a big theater setting, probably with a subwoofer under your chair to boot. Unfortunately we don't have the ability to do a more dynamic version at this point without overhauling the whole project file.

Rob Scallon

yea, unfortunately there's just no way to really translate this instruments loudness into video. That was a tough call in editing, the first cut we had the instrument much louder then us, but then our voices were very hard to hear and it didn't make for a very fun viewing experience. and even that was nowhere near what the actual dynamic range was.

you got it! :) Johann Sebastian Bach's Toccata in D minor: https://youtu.be/vfySQBxAA4w Edward Elgar's Nimrod from the Enigma Variations: https://youtu.be/UB1Vo_JUXpI

Also if possible, a full-dynamic-range (or mostly full) audio version would be cool.

Fabio

Please share the performances on the second channel, I love what we heard so far.
