The Mathematics faculty lounge had been an intimidating place the first time Jenna had set foot inside. In looks it wasn’t much, shabby furniture and ill-maintained appliances like any department lounge. Only business and other industry-pipeline departments had nice lounges. Nor were the people particularly impressive to look at. Math people tended to be withdrawn and fashion indifferent from undergraduate to tenure.
The feeling came from the sense of gravitas that groundbreaking research had. Of course, only a tiny fraction of the people who used the lounge would generate any revolutionary results. They all had the possibility within them, though. Every small result was, in a sense, something new about human understanding of the universe.
Having published her second paper, Jenna wasn’t intimidated anymore. She was one of the intimidating ones. She had power in the lounge. It felt good, if strange. Power was a new feeling; one she hadn’t expected to ever feel as a woman in academia. So far, it wasn’t worth the bother.
For one thing, it had created weird situations where people wanted to sit and talk to her. That’d be acceptable, if inconvenient if they wanted to talk about maths. But some wanted to talk about her personal life, or worse, theirs.
“You’re dating Monserrat, right? That huge girl who’s on the volleyball team?” The question came from Tyler, a graduate student who had apparently decided to ruin a perfectly good conversation about graph theory.
“She’s also in the engineering department.” Jenna said in irritation. “Please don’t make this a weird conversation about my sexuality.”
“No, I – shit – I didn’t mean to…” Tyler rubbed the back of his head nervously. “There’s a guy on the men’s Volleyball team that is really cute and funny. I was wondering if you had any tips.”
Jenna blinked. A little laugh burst out of her, popping her analytic demeanor. Maybe it hadn’t been such a bad question. It was cute, at least.
Still a distraction though! Lounge time is supposed to be maths time!
“I’m sorry Tyler, I wouldn’t know. Monserrat chose me.”
Jenna shrugged at Tyler’s incredulous expression. “I’m as mystified as you. We had a maths class together. She asked me out. I’m still surprised at my luck.”
“Darn, okay, it was worth a shot.”
“What’s his name? I could see if Monchi knows him.”
Why am I extending this conversation? This has to be Monserrat’s fault.
“Really?! It’s Brad. I uh – don’t know his last name.”
“Hopefully there’s only one Brad. What’re the odds?”
“Um, I’m not sure. I could look up census data for names in the US, but I don’t know if it’s broken down by state. Also, we’d have to account for name distribution among people in the college volleyball demographic.”
“That’s why I don’t do statistics.” Jenna chuckled. “It always ends with science instead of pure maths.”
“This isn’t an undergraduate social lounge.”
Jenna looked over to see Dr. Hodge entering the lounge with a cup of coffee and a scowl.
“I’m helping Tyler with a problem on planer graph isomorphism.”
“I’m sure you are.” Dr. Hodge’s voice dripped with sarcasm.
He loomed over their table, his thin mouth and thin eyebrows crinkled in equal measure. Though he wasn’t particularly tall or broad, he was larger than Jenna by enough that her first retort died in her throat.
“I don’t care if Dr. Sienna gives you permission to be in here, I’m revoking it for today. Go gossip about your latest date somewhere else.”
A quick glance at Tyler showed him looking away with his head down. Furiously embarrassed, Jenna snatched her papers and shoved them in her bag. She made it out of Ashley Hall before the angry energy in her limbs turned shaky.
Jenna leaned against the doorway and concentrated on her breathing. It didn’t matter if Dr. Hodge was jealous that she’d turned him down for an independent study. Except that it did matter if her studying was ruined for the day. She wasn’t going to stop using the lounge, that was for sure, but it looked like she’d have to stop talking there.
That’s fine. I’ll get more done anyway.
Isolating herself from the graduate students felt surprisingly bad. It felt like a retreat from the gains she’d made with the two papers she’d published. More than that, it had been nice to have people to collaborate with. Friends who understood maths.
I don’t need friends. I need maths, and Monserrat.
Jenna was moving before she realized she’d picked a destination. She was headed home, of course, to see Monchi. A big hug and kisses from her girlfriend would go a long way to flipping her upset mood.
The house smelled wonderful. The smell of lasagna or something equally cheesy and Italian drew Jenna like a magnet to the kitchen. When she got there, she was glad for her trademark sneaky walk.
Monserrat and Rachel were laughing, giggling, flirting together. Jenna arrived in time to see Monchi sit Rachel on the counter and give her a kiss. They hadn’t spotted her yet. Wordlessly, Jenna went up the stairs.
It was fine for Monserrat to be with Rachel. It was something Jenna had known about up front when she started dating Monchi. It was negotiated and communicated – and today it hurt. Jenna wiped away tears and threw herself on her bed, grabbing Elizabat in a crushing hug.
I can’t be doing this. I’m not supposed to be jealous. It’s just, the thing in the lounge was so gross. If Monserrat was only mine, she wouldn’t have been busy. She could have given me a hug.
That wasn’t fair either. Monserrat would happily have given her a hug. She wouldn’t have stopped her afternoon with Rachel, but she would have hugged Jenna in a heartbeat.
Rachel would have been nice about it too. Monserrat was being really considerate with the time she picked. If Dr. Hodge hadn’t yelled at Jenna, she wouldn’t have been home to even see Monchi’s date with Rachel.
On a normal day, I’d be fine. I could hug my girlfriend, get a kiss, tell her I had a bad day, and go do my own thing while she was on a date with her other girlfriend. It’d be fine. I need more today. I need – I need Navi.
Jenna whimpered, squeezing Elizabat with all her might. Monserrat’s ABDL thing had been surprisingly wonderful so far, if scary. If ABDL was making Jenna jealous in her relationship, then it was getting a lot scarier.
Could I lose Monserrat over this? I know she doesn’t want jealous partners.
Jenna was spiraling, that much was obvious. Simply knowing it was happening didn’t stop the spiral. She needed to do something to break out of her funk.
Pretending Navi was there to stroke her hair and take care of her wasn’t working. Navi was a piece of Monserrat, not a whole different woman. The woman was downstairs and unavailable.
I could put on a pullup.
The thought was surprising enough to stop Jenna’s spiral. It’d make it easier to pretend she was being taken care of, to capture the spirit of her and Monchi’s new game but – she didn’t like wearing them, did she?
Is it really a comfort thing for me to wear – one of those?
To Jenna’s bewilderment, it did sound comforting. There was one problem, beside her sudden attitude change on padded underwear. She didn’t have any pullups. They were in Monserrat’s room, and they weren’t free, or Jenna’s to take.
I think she’d understand. I could pay her back if she wanted me to.
In a daze, Jenna approached Monserrat’s bedroom door. She didn’t have permission to enter Monchi’s room either.
A good girl wouldn’t do this.
Jenna pulled her hand away from the doorknob.
If I tell her I was a bad girl, she has to pay attention to me.
It was a shameful, unworthy thought. Jenna opened the door anyway, her stomach immediately twisting with guilt. As strong as the guilt was, her distress was stronger. She got in, grabbed a pullup, and got out as fast as she could.
Back in her room, Jenna was amazed at how fast she got herself into the pullup. Her usual hesitation at the garment was nothing compared to the turmoil she’d gone through to get it. As soon as the padding wrapped her hips, Jenna sighed. She’d been right. It was a really strong reminder of Monchi’s tenderness, of being taken care of by Navi.
After wiggling her jeans over the pullup, Jenna grabbed Elizabat. She could crash out on the bed – but that sounded like a recipe for more spiraling. She had enough distance from Dr. Hodge’s tyranny. There were enough Navi talismans in her bat and pullup, to be in a mood for maths again.
Tyler didn’t deserve help, after abandoning her, but Jenna was going to solve his problem anyway. Ten minutes into pencil scratching on paper, all the icky feelings had vanished. All that remained was the soothing calm of a logic puzzle which teased and tugged at Jenna’s brain until she unraveled it.
Jenna scrounged a plate of lasagna during her studies. It didn’t taste like jealousy or betrayal, it tasted like tomato, basil, and delicious cheese. Warding away the cold and filling her belly wasn’t all the dish could do. It reassured Jenna that she wasn’t upset with Rachel or Monchi. Knowing that was a huge relief, though she should still talk to Monserrat later.

The first chance at later came in the laundry room. Jenna was folding her clothes when Monserrat arrived with an armload of sheets. That sheets needed to be changed was a little more information than Jenna had wanted.
That’s not fair, again. Monchi is being nice. I wouldn’t want to sit on Rachel’s dirty sheets if I visited Monserrat tonight.
“Hi Jenna!” Monserrat was full of afterglow energy, beaming and content. It felt stupid to be upset when Jenna’s love was so happy.
“Hi Monchi.” Jenna bit her lip. “I don’t want to bring your mood down – but there something I should talk to you about. It’s my problem, not yours. We can postpone it if you don’t want drama right now.”
“Huh? Sweetie, you know you can talk to me any time.”
“I know. You look so happy though. I – got jealous earlier today. We don’t need to get into it right now. I can do more thinking on it.”
“It sounds like you want to talk instead of think. You heard Rachel and I when you got home?”
“No, I got home earlier. I had earbuds in by the time you were – noisy. I came home upset, thinking I could get a hug and saw you with Rachel in the kitchen.”
“You could totally have gotten a hug while we were cooking.” Monserrat reached for Jenna.
Jenna stepped into the offered hug and clung to Monserrat. Her girlfriend’s big, strong body felt so good. Right away, it made things right inside of Jenna. She’d wanted a quick hug, so she could keep talking face to face, but Jenna’s arms wouldn’t release Monchi.
“I know. I know but – today it hurt. I’m sorry, I’m trying to not be jealous.”
“Jealousy is pretty normal. I think you’re amazing for talking to me about it right away. Do you know why today was different?”
“Yes.” Jenna buried her face in Monchi’s chest.
Now that it was time to tell Monserrat what had happened, Jenna was regretting bringing up the issue. She still wasn’t sure how she felt about the whirlwind of emotions the afternoon had held. She could hardly believe she’d wanted to wear a pullup so badly, that she still had it on.
“But you can’t say? Sounds complicated.” Monserrat stroked Jenna’s back with long, slow touches.
I have to tell her. Especially before she slips into taking care of me.
“I needed Navi – and she wasn’t available.”
Monserrat’s hand stopped. Jenna bit her lip and scrunched her eyes closed. Within the thick concrete walls of the laundry room, the only sound was the steady thumping of Monserrat’s heart.
“Do you need Navi now? Are you Jenny?”
“No. I need to talk – first.”
“Let’s find a better place to talk then.”
“My room?” Elizabat is there.
Snuggling the bat would have been a dangerous step toward becoming Jenny. Jenna settled for leaning against the bat while she sat on the bed. Monserrat was sitting cross-legged, waiting for Jenna to open up.
I don’t know how she does it. I threw a bunch of emotional mess on top of her happy evening. She’s as patient and wonderful as always.
“I didn’t understand at first, when I got upset. It didn’t make sense that I didn’t want to get a hug from you because you were kissing Rachel. We’ve done that before and it was fine. It wasn’t until – until I knew I needed Navi that it started to make sense.”
“Because you didn’t think you could get that from me when I was on a date with Rachel?”
“Could I have? Would Navi have – would she have seen I was upset, given me a hug, and gone back to kissing Rachel?”
Jenna’s resolve crumbled. She grabbed Elizabat and hugged her tight.
Please don’t say yes. Please, please Monchi, don’t tell me Navi would let me go away upset.
Monserrat looked troubled. Her jaw was trembling, her eyes darting around, searching through her thoughts. Jenna watched in slowly growing horror. Was Monserrat going to pull back from their relationship? Did they have to stop playing the ABDL game?
Do I really want to be taken care of by Navi that much? What’s wrong with me? I’m a grown woman. I don’t need my girlfriend to take care of me like a kid – do I?
Maybe it would be better if they stopped the game. It’d hurt a little – more than a little, but the hurt would go away. They could go back to the wonderful thing they had before. Jenna’s bird was faltering, it’d fallen under the clouds. She could get the bird out of the kink that was constraining it and back into Monchi’s light.
“Monchi, it’s okay if…”
“No, she wouldn’t have.” Monserrat met Jenna’s gaze intensely. “Navi would have broken the date with Rachel and taken care of Jenny until she was okay.”
The bird was back above the clouds! She was in the light, but there were cruel spikes of ice all over her from the flight through the clouds. Jenna burst into tears, curling around Elizabat.
“That’s what I wanted but – we can’t do that, right? You can’t just – we have to all be partners. It’s not fair to Rachel, is it?”
“Jenny, come here.”
Navi took Jenny in her arms, pulled the Little Girl onto her lap. Jenny clung to Navi and smushed her tear-soaked face into Navi’s shoulder.
“I’d have to talk to Rachel if that happened. We might have to renegotiate. It wouldn’t be perfect to break the date with her without talking first, but nobody and no relationship is perfect. I think we’d be fine if we talked it out.”
“What if Rachel couldn’t agree? You’d break up and it’d be my fu-fu-fault.”
“I’m not going to be with Rachel for sixty years.” Navi said, cradling Jenny in her arms. “I’d like to be with you that long, or longer.”
“But you need to be poly.” The tears had stopped, mostly. Jenny was breathing in shuddering breaths, but those were calming too.
“I think I do, yes.” Navi kissed Jenny’s head gently. “What that looks like is something I expect to change over time.”
Jenna knew she should respond with questions about how the relationship might be changing in the moment. It was Jenny who had control of what she said, and Jenny needed to confess before she could enjoy being taken care of by Navi.
“I was a bad girl this afternoon!”
“Huh? I don’t think that’s true. You’re a very good girl. I’m proud of you for not letting this fester. You’re not bad because you were jealous, that’s something that happens and you’re dealing with it perfectly.”
“No, I – I went into your room and I took a pullup. Without permission.”
“You – what?”
“I missed you and I was sad, and Dr. Hodge was so awful. I couldn’t pretend enough without you there so I – I went into your room and took a pullup and put it on.”
“Okay. You’re still not a bad girl. You’re a good girl who did a bad thing.”
Navi lay Jenny on her crossed legs and tugged at the button of the Little girl’s jeans. Jenny hid her face in Navi’s side while the fly of her jeans was unzipped. It was embarrassing, but it didn’t have the scary, hyperventilating quality it had the first time she’d been in a pullup. In fact, it was curiously reassuring to have Navi pat her padding.
“You kept the pullup dry, good girl!”
Jenny smiled, tension leaving her body. She snuggled in, less hiding her face now and more cuddling.
“I didn’t realize these were so helpful for you.” Navi worked Jenny’s jeans off her hips and down her legs with gentle tugs. “You have permission to go into my room to get a pullup any time you want.”
“But I didn’t have permission today.” The nagging guilt wouldn’t let go. She knew she’d done a bad thing. Navi had said so.
“That’s right. I do have to punish you.”
“Then I’ll be a good girl again?”
“You were always a good girl. I’m going to punish you to make sure you stay that way.”
“Okay Navi.” Jenny nodded.
“I wonder what the right punishment would be.” Navi’s voice had the speculative tone she used when she was checking for Jenny’s reaction to something new.
“One punishment that would fit the behavior would be to make you use the pullup.”
Jenny felt her muscles tense. Wetting sounded awful. It would be a big, big punishment. She was astonished to realize that she’d do it, if Navi told her she had to.
“Then again, you did something that would have been okay if you’d asked first. I think we could clear this up with a small spanking.”
Jenny relaxed – a bit. A spanking didn’t sound fun at all, but it wasn’t supposed to be, it was a punishment. Unless you were Rachel, but Jenny wasn’t sure how that dynamic worked. It’d never made sense to her that Rachel liked being spanked.

“I’m going to take care of it right now, so we can get back to taking care of you.”
Jenny nodded quickly. Expecting to be turned over on Navi’s lap, she was surprised to be lifted onto the bed. Navi took Jenny’s pullup off and took hold of her ankles. Jenny grabbed the comforter for balance when Navi pulled her ankles up, bending her waist and exposing her butt.
“Wh-what’s this?”
“You were expecting me to put you over my knee?”
Jenny nodded. “That’s how you do it to Rachel.”

Jenna nodded quickly.

“A whole day?” Jenny’s eyes were so wide they felt stretched.
“Is that something my Little girl would like?” Navi deftly stripped Jenny of her sweater and bra. “I could wake you, get you ready for the day, with protection of course. Take care of you all day and tuck you into bed at the end?”
“I want but – what if it’s too much?”
“Then we’d take a break. I’ll be watching my anxious Jenny-bear all day to make sure you’re having fun.”
Jenny considered it, her heart pounding, while Navi put the onesie on her. She squirmed and grabbed Elizabat when Navi snapped the onesie over her crotch. Strong hands stroked her legs, her hips, her padded rear…
“We could do it this Saturday.” Jenny said in a tiny voice.

“Are you sure?” Navi stroked Jenny’s cheek gently. “I think you might be in Little space, and I hate to interrupt you, but I need you to really think. Would it be okay if you woke up tomorrow in a pullup and a onesie? Do you want me to get you ready for bed?”
“If – if you stay, yes please.” Jenny snuggled up to Navi as closely as she could get. “It’d be like a practice for Saturday. I’d know more if I’m going to like the whole day.”
“Of course, I’ll stay with you.” Navi kissed Jenny gently. “Do you want to take a break to get ready for bed? I can give you the deluxe treatment, and take care of everything. Or, I can let you do it on your own, and come back to be Little and snuggle.”
The brief check-in had eroded the Little feeling. Jenny wanted Navi to do everything for her. Jenna wasn’t sure. Things were getting embarrassing again. She wasn’t certain what the ‘deluxe’ treatment was, but she could imagine from her babysitting days.
Monchi would put her on the toilet again. Tell her to brush her teeth. Tuck her into bed. There would be another embarrassing and infantilizing step in there.
The more she thought about it, the more she couldn’t do it. With a sigh, Jenna sat up. “I think I’ll get ready and then come back. Okay?”
“Of course.” Monserrat smiled, but there was a touch of disappointment in her eyes.
The bird, which had been practically flying in the sun itself, faltered and descended toward the clouds. Jenna was surprised at the pang of disappointment in herself. She considered reaching upward again, letting herself go for Navi…
It was too late. The magic was gone. She took a deep breath to deliver the bad news.
“Actually – nope.” Monserrat said.
Jenna blinked at Monchi. She was pretty sure none of those thoughts had been said out loud.
“I can’t bear to see the twinkle go out of your eyes. I’m going to put a robe on you and take you to the bathroom. Nobody will see your onesie or your pullup.”
Jenna’s mouth dropped open. That wasn’t how it was supposed to go. She’d made a decision, and Monserrat needed to respect it! It didn’t matter if the decision didn’t feel good, it was her decision!
“Come on little girl, don’t get fussy with me. Do you need a pacifier?”
Jenna blinked. Her heart thudded twice in her chest. “No, I…”
Monserrat scooped her up like a child, setting Jenny on her hip.
“Can you show me where in your closet your robe is, Little girl?”
Navi’s momentum was relentless. Jenna tried to recoil. Jenny reversed that order, clinging to her girlfriend’s bare torso. Navi walked her to the closet and Jenny pointed out the robe.
“It’s right there.”
“Good girl!” Navi said, proudly.
Jenny beamed as Navi set her on her feet. She put her arms up so Navi could wrap her in the fuzzy robe. After throwing her shirt back on and checking the hallway, Navi lead Jenny to the bathroom.
As she’d suspected would happen, Jenny had her pullup pulled to her knees and was set on the potty. She couldn’t look at Navi while she was peeing, but it felt good to get praised afterwards. Navi made Jenny brush her teeth for a really long time, though Navi insisted it was only two minutes.
Being tucked into bed was an amazing feeling. Jenny whined a little when it looked like Navi wasn’t going to join her. Luckily, Navi was only getting undressed. Jenny took a moment to admire her girlfriend’s glorious, sculpted nakedness, before that incredible body joined her in bed.
Jenny’s twin bed was as tight a fit as ever, but for once it felt perfect. Resting her head on Navi’s breasts, Jenny was out like a light.

Jenna discovered that ABDL was a direct line to getting incredibly tender care from Monchi and she is ready to drink from that firehose. :) Plus being Jenny lets her be anxious without seeming like a problem. It's a potent combo! In fact, if she didn't have so much anxiety she'd probably already be in that diaper, and loving it. :D

Another great chapter, and I concur with the previous sentiments of this being a sweet, and comforting chapter; with just a touch of naughtiness. I also enjoy how quickly Jenna/Jenny is becoming accustomed to embracing her little side and finding the stress relief component that such a side can bring out. I think it is only a matter of time before she finds herself in the thick, comfy confines of a soft diaper.

I like to read the new chapters as soon as they come in even though I’m at work. It’s hard to do sometimes. I always end up going back and re reading it. Sometimes even 3 or 4 times.
Great chapter. Navi and Jenny are feeling their way through things nicely. It was a little awkward at times but they got through it. Jenna is still unsure of who she wants to be and when. Her little accident caught her off guard. She must have been deep in Little Space. It was really sweet when Monchi gave Jenna exactly what she wanted even though she said she didn’t. Perhaps they are read to take things a little farther. Please keep going.

Loved this….I started to read it over lunch and was interrupted at work, it was hard to wait until I got done working to start it over and finish it.
