This one took me a massive time and frankly i'm not too happy about it, but at least it works good enough to tell the story. Hope you like it, we're going to have the grand finale soon. Promises on it being August, and I do want to announce the next issue as well <3 Cya then.

I can understand not being happy with a finished page, all those hours and all that tweaking and perfecting... and something still doesn't look right! Regardless, this page looks fine. Lovely art as always, really love the last shot of Sonic. Something tells me things are gonna get insane.

It's not a fake. The earlier implication was that they cannot mass-synthesize their fake emeralds yet without proper funding. Though Tails has done it individually before, their resources are sparser than their glory days.
Dopple
I feel this might end in two ways. Either Sonic does win in all this or Tails is just playing like he lost and that emerald is a fake and will do something to Sonic. I really am curious how this will really go. Amazing work.
